When applying mortar or tiling to the exterior walls of a wooden building, use wood slate, waterproof paper, or lath as the base structure, and then apply mortar, etc., with a rough and intermediate coat on top of this. It will be done. However, recently, it has been proposed and put into practice that the work up to intermediate coating can be easily done by nailing factory-produced mortar base plates to the pillars.

This type of mortar base board for construction is usually made by mixing inorganic powder particles and synthetic resin emulsion or asphalt emulsion on the surface of plywood, and applying and hardening the mixture on an uneven surface, or applying it flat and hardening. . This factory-produced base board is nailed onto pillars and studs at the construction site. Then, between the butted base plate and the base plate,
V-grooves are usually formed for edging the base plate,
Apply a water-based caulking agent here to treat the joints,
After solidification, a top coat of cement mortar is applied.

In addition, in the case of a two-story house, since the surfaces of the through-posts and studs are different, usually a support board is placed on the stud, the surface is aligned with the through-post, and a base plate is placed on the outside of the through-post.

Such treatment of through-posts and joints is a waste of time and materials when installing the support, it is very time-consuming to apply the caulking agent, it takes several days for the caulking agent to solidify, and it is difficult to adhere the mortar properly. Since a water-based caulking agent is used for this purpose, if a top coat of mortar is applied before the caulking is cured, the mortar on the top of the caulking may sag, cause sunken spots, uneven coloring, and cracks. .

Naturally, if sufficient joint treatment is not performed, or if mortar is overcoated with the surface of the through-column exposed between the base plates, cracks will occur on the top coat, and the mortar will peel off in the case of the through-column.

Therefore, this invention uses a sheet made of paper, nonwoven fabric, or cloth coated with an adhesive containing asphalt as a main component to treat the joints including the gaps between the base plates formed by the through-posts. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a joint treatment method that eliminates the troublesome preparation of the base by simply laying the joints over the top.

Mortar base plate 3 used in this invention method
There is no edging, and therefore no V-groove is formed in the abutting portion. Therefore, the adhesive sheet 7 is applied flatly to this abutting portion. Of course, this does not mean that it cannot be carried out when using a mortar base material with edges, and in such a case,
It is sufficient to paste the adhesive sheet 7 along the V-groove.
Furthermore, adhesive sheets 7 are similarly pasted onto the surface of the through column 1 so as to cover the base plates 3 on both sides thereof.

As shown in a schematic cross-sectional view in FIG. 3, the adhesive sheet 7 is made by impregnating felt paper, nonwoven fabric, or cloth 8 with asphalt to perform waterproofing and antiseptic treatment, and the bottom surface of the adhesive sheet 7 is coated with synthetic rubber and asphalt. It is coated with an adhesive layer 9 as a component, and the adhesive layer 9 buffers distortion due to expansion and contraction of the base plate 3 at the joint, and paper, nonwoven fabric, or cloth 8 absorbs displacement due to this distortion. The mortar topcoat layer 6 is dispersed and intertwined with the mortar topcoat layer 6 to securely hold the mortar topcoat layer 6.

As described above, when the method of the present invention is used, the joint treatment in the mortar base plate is significantly simplified and the efficiency is improved.
