Conventional technology and its problems At present, artificial leather for industrial use and clothing mainly uses split fibers made of a multi-layered resin component, and one fiber of the other component is dissolved and removed before and after wet impregnation with urethane to make it ultra-fine. Although it is well-received for its texture and feel, it requires a removal process as nearly half of the volume of the spun fibers must be extracted, and a large amount is needed to obtain strength and dimensional stability. The urethane was required to be impregnated with citrus oil, making it extremely expensive.

In addition, base materials that use normal single-component fibers have a limit in card spinning properties of ultrafine fibers, so in fields that require more flexibility, base materials that use a lot of meriamide fibers with a low Young's modulus are often used, which are inexpensive. At present, polyester fibers having high strength are not normally used as base materials for artificial leather.

In addition, artificial leather base materials based on 2 to 3 denier heat-shrinkable melliester fibers are also seen in -3, but because they require high-temperature processing for 1-shrinkage treatment, they may suffer from yellowing, etc. Problems include the fact that it is difficult to mix soft polyamide fibers, and it is also difficult to make them fine in denier, so they are mainly used in limited applications where stiffness is required.

That is, the base material for polyester artificial leather according to the present invention contains 30 to 70% of one fiber of heat-shrinkable polyester having a heat shrinkage rate of 10% to 40%, and a polyester having a melting point higher than the shrinkage temperature of the heat-shrinkable fiber. Binder IA fiber 1:5~
20% and the remainder has a Young's modulus of 300 #4/Ml or less, preferably 1 denier or less. By making IJ ester into A-fiber, it is able to withstand heat shrinkage and thermocompression bonding during needle punch processing, and has the strength required for artificial leather base materials, moderate elongation, and soft texture. The problem was solved by providing material 2i-. In particular, if the apparent aIi soot density is set high, a base material for artificial leather with sufficient performance can be obtained without the conventional wet urethane impregnation treatment. When the blending ratio of the synthetic and IJ ester fibers is less than 30%, the base material shrinks insufficiently and lacks softness, which is undesirable. When it exceeds 70%, the elasticity becomes strong and the surface touch, which is essential for artificial leather, becomes poor. The slimy feeling disappears, which is not desirable. In addition, if the heat shrinkage rate of the fiber is less than 10%, the base material shrinkage (area shrinkage) will be insufficient, and if it exceeds 40Is, the fineness after shrinkage will become thicker, causing hardening of the texture, deterioration of surface feel, etc., so it is preferable. Na-. The melting point (temperature at which adhesive performance is developed) of the binder ester fiber is preferably higher than the shrinkage temperature of the heat-shrinkable fiber by at least 10°C, and if one with a low melting point is used, inter-fiber bonding will occur during the heat-shrinking process. progresses, causing a decrease in flexibility. Moreover, if the blending ratio of polyester binder fiber exceeds 1-20%, the hardening of the texture due to thermocompression bonding processing such as calendering will increase, and if it is less than 5 seconds, it will be difficult to obtain the desired strength and appropriate elongation of the base material, and wet urethane impregnation will be difficult. This is undesirable since it has no choice but to depend on post-processing such as treatment.

Next, by using a low Young's modulus polyester with a Young's modulus of 3004/7z or less, it is possible to obtain flexibility sufficient to withstand the use of meliamide ram.In particular, if a fine denier fiber of 1 denier or less is used, flexibility can be obtained. A base material for artificial leather having a smooth and slimy feel was obtained, and it did not yellow at all during the heat shrinkage treatment unlike when using Riamide AM, and the appearance was also very good. In addition, the number of needle strikes during needle punch processing has a large effect on the physical properties of the base material and the texture of the finish, and

By configuring as described above, it is possible to obtain at a relatively low cost a polyester base material for artificial leather which is flexible and has good processability, has higher strength and has appropriate elongation.

For comparison, a fiber web made of split fibers of Seki nylon with a good splitting degree of 0.01 to 0.1 d was similarly needle punched and then subjected to splitting treatment to obtain a fiber web with a fabric weight of 2oo.
A substrate with a thickness of 1.3 mm and a thickness of 1.3 mm was obtained. Subsequently, this base material was impregnated with urethane wet treatment, and the dry thickness was adjusted, resulting in a fabric weight of 350 P/rr? (DPu

Effects of the Invention The advantages of the invention include the above structure, which has a flexible texture, high strength and moderate elongation, and excellent dimensional stability, compared to conventional wet urethane impregnated artificial leather base materials using split fibers. It is suitable for applications where large elongation is disliked, such as single-shoe applications (particularly for smetsies). Furthermore, if the base material obtained according to the present invention is further subjected to urethane wet impregnation processing, it is possible to improve the texture with a small amount of adhesion, and it has the effect of producing low-cost artificial leather. It is an invention.
