つ連続的に切削加工する方法を提供することを目
的とする。

従来板材の端面を切削加工する場合、第1図に
示すように上下一対の移送用ベルト2にて板材1
を搬送しながらカツターナイフ3にて板材1の端
面を切削加工するのが一般的であるが、板材1の
厚さが15mm以下の合板等の場合は該板材1の端面
5がカツターナイフの外部応力により上下に開放
しそれとともに振動したりして、加工面の正確な
切削加工が出来ない欠点があつた。

スカーフジヨイントなどの加工に効果的である。
