装入する間に断続的に石炭を圧密し装入作業を行う方式
〈当該発明が解決しようとする問題点〉ところが、この
方式は圧密作業の断続化により石炭のコークス炉への装
入時間が極端に長くなってしまうこと、つまり現状、石
炭装入車作業時間は各炉室に対して6〜7分のバッチ操
業であり、装入蓋の着脱φ走行・受炭等の他作業時間を
配慮すると正味の石炭装入時間は約2公租度であるが、
前記方式では、既存の石炭装入車に石炭圧密装置を装備
することを源側とする設備であり、石炭装入時間にプラ
スされて石炭の圧密時間が必要となる。例えば、この圧
密時間を仮に石炭装入時間と同様2分糧度と想定すれば
前記操業サイクルは8〜9分となってしまい、現状のコ
ークス炉作業が長時間となり、コークス炉操業の効率化
を逆に■害するものとなってしまうという欠点があった
