BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, synthetic leather substrates based on nonwoven fabrics have mainly been obtained by needle-punching synthetic fiber webs of 2 to 3 deniers such as nylon and polyester. This nonwoven fabric
Synthetic leather is formed by dry impregnating emulsion of synthetic resins such as SBR, acrylic, and vinyl chloride. In addition, the texture is similar to or better than natural leather,
A 2 to 3 denier sea-island composite fiber is spun by carding, and after needle punching and wet impregnation treatment, either the sea portion or the island portion of the composite fiber is dissolved and removed using a solvent. Some products have undergone post-processing.

There is a considerable gap between these synthetic and artificial leathers, and at present there is no intermediate synthetic or artificial leather. The main reason for this is that with conventional synthetic leather, the limit for spinning synthetic fibers is 0.5 denier or more, so a fine denier base material cannot be obtained and it cannot be made into artificial leather. In addition, the base material for artificial leather, which uses sea-island type composite fiber,
In addition to the special spinning method, either the sea or the islands must be removed with a solvent, and the manufacturing process
The current situation is that it requires significant capital investment due to pollution regulations, making it extremely expensive.

The purpose of the present invention is to improve the above two drawbacks, form a synthetic leather base material under simple manufacturing conditions, and provide it with the characteristics of an artificial leather base material. That is,
Synthetic fiber web layer of 0.5-3.0 denier which can be carded and 0.5-denier obtained by melt-blowing method.
By combining fine denier nonwoven fabric sheets of denier or less and needle-punching only the fine denier nonwoven fabric sheet layer, the mechanical properties of the nonwoven web layer, such as tensile strength and tear strength required for the base material, are improved. The feel and texture of artificial leather is imparted by a fine denier nonwoven fabric sheet. By subjecting the base material of the present invention to conventional wet urethane resin processing, it is possible to obtain synthetic leather with an artificial leather-like appearance similar to artificial leather from which sea or island portions have been removed using sea-island composite fibers.

However, fine denier nonwoven fabric sheets of 0.5 denier or less spun by melt blowing, which are ideal as base materials for artificial leather, have the disadvantage that they have no tangles due to the manufacturing process and have extremely low tensile and tear strength.

Even if needle punching is performed to improve this problem, entanglement between fibers does not occur, and on the contrary, both tensile and tear strength decrease. Furthermore, a base material in which a woven fabric is inserted into the intermediate layer to provide strong retention has been considered, but since the fine denier nonwoven fabric sheet does not tangle, interlayer peeling is likely to occur, and increasing the number of needle punches may cause damage to the woven fabric. However, there was a drawback that the strength and retention properties were severely reduced.

Through the above processing, there is no thick fiber of 0.5 denier or more in the fine denier nonwoven fabric layer, and on the outer surface of the synthetic fiber web 1 of 0.5 denier or more,
An ideal base material for artificial leather was obtained, exhibiting a suede-touch surface condition in which countless fine denier fibers 4 of 0.5 denier or less were randomly protruded.

In addition, as for the above needle punch processing conditions, the needle punch driving depth is preferably 10 to 12 mm, and 10 to 12 mm.
If it is less than mm, the nonwoven fabric web and the fine denier nonwoven fabric sheet layer cannot be entwined, causing delamination. If it exceeds 12 mm, the fine denyl nonwoven fabric sheet will be severely damaged, and the fine denyl nonwoven fabric sheet portion will be inserted into the thick nonwoven fabric web layer, causing a problem that thick fibers will appear on the surface, which is not preferable.

Further, the number of needle punches greatly affects delamination, tensile strength, and tear strength, and is suitably 500 to 1000 P/cm 2 . If it is less than 500P/cm2, there will be delamination and insufficient tensile strength, and if it exceeds 1000P/ cm2 , the tensile strength and tear strength will decrease due to surface damage to the fine denyl nonwoven sheet layer on the surface and cutting of entangled fibers. This is not desirable because it invites

Synthetic leather processed by wet impregnation using the base material for synthetic leather of the present invention obtained by changing various configurations depending on the application as described above, after wet impregnation processing using the sea-island type composite fiber base material, It was very similar to natural leather and had no inferiority to artificial leather from which the sea or island portions had been removed with a solvent. Therefore, we have created an innovative suede-like synthetic leather that can be manufactured in the same process as conventional synthetic leather, even in areas where artificial leather with excellent texture and feel could not be used due to its high price. A base material for use is obtained.

In addition, fine denier nonwoven fabric sheets of 0.5 denier or less spun by the melt-blowing method have conventionally not been used as base materials for artificial leather because there is no intertwining between the fibers during manufacturing and the tensile and tearing strength is very weak. It can only be used as a base material for artificial leather by laminating a fiber web of 0.5 denier or more that can be carded and by adding restrictions to the needle punching conditions. Furthermore,
Needle punching from the fine denier nonwoven fabric sheet side ensures that there are no thick fibers of 0.5 denier or more on the fine denier nonwoven fabric layer side.
A large number of synthetic fibers on the surface of the web of 0.5 denier or more
Fine denier fibers of 0.5 denier or less exhibit a prominent surface condition, so secondary processing (wet impregnation) gives a backskin-like appearance, feels good on the skin, increases flexibility and strength, and improves the fine denier side. Since there are no thick denier fibers, it is possible to obtain synthetic leather with an extremely slimy texture. By increasing or decreasing the ratio of laminated fine denier nonwoven fabric sheets of 0.5 denier or less and synthetic fiber webs of 0.5 denier or more, it can be used for various purposes such as bags, bags, shoes, etc. in addition to clothing. It is an idea.
