方によつて素焼き瓦、いぶし瓦、くすりかけ瓦に
分けられている。そして従来の和瓦は、うわぐす
り(ゆう薬)を施さないものが多く、特別な表面
処理をして耐水性を与える(いぶし瓦)などして

くして耐久性、耐水性を頗る増大でき、かつまた
銅または真鍮の光沢劣化並びに褪色を防遮できる
