Conventionally, commercially available decorative boards with parallel grooves have been generally formed by forming parallel grooves after adhering a decorative sheet to the surface of the substrate, and then painting the inside of the grooves.
However, with this method, if there are cracks or irregularities within the grooves, the appearance will be poor even after painting, and the paint will also protrude outside the grooves, reducing the product value. Furthermore, a technique of pasting a band-shaped decorative sheet inside the groove is also known, but this method has the drawback of extremely low productivity.

In order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, this invention attempts to adhere the sheet continuously even within the grooves. In other words, the invention attempts to adhere the sheet continuously even within the grooves. In other words, the sheet is bonded along the surface of the substrate in which one or more parallel grooves are formed. When bonding, an adhesive is applied to the surface of the substrate, the back surface of the sheet, or both, and the sheet corresponding to the part to be bonded in the groove is coated with a backing plate or a backing plate having a protrusion in the opposite shape to that of the groove. After using a roll to form a slack in a shape similar to the groove, the slack part of the sheet is first brought into contact with the groove using a groove presser roll, and then a smoothing roll or the like is used to form a slack in the shape of the substrate surface. The present invention relates to a method for producing a decorative board with parallel grooves, which is characterized by press-bonding the decorative board along its length.

In this invention, the substrate refers to plywood, particle board, hardboard, asbestos slate board, calcium silicate board, pulp cement board, magnesium carbonate board, gypsum board, etc. Also, what is a sheet?
Refers to paper, synthetic resin sheets, cloth, synthetic paper, etc., and composite sheets thereof, and includes preprinted sheets of these materials. The adhesive used in the present invention must be selected depending on the materials of the substrate and sheet, but general adhesives such as ethylene vinyl acetate resin, vinyl acetate resin, acrylic emulsion resin, etc. may be used.

FIG. 1 is a side view of an apparatus used to carry out the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a partial plan view of FIG. 1. An ethylene vinyl acetate resin adhesive 4 is applied to the back surface of the decorative PVC sheet 2 unwound from the rolled ball 1 using a coating machine 3 such as a roll coater. 5 is a drying device such as an infrared heater, which makes the adhesive 4 applied to the back side of the sheet semi-dry or dry to the touch, softens the decorative PVC sheet 2, and creates sag in the sheet 2 in a shape similar to the grooves 8. This makes it easier to form. In addition, if a method is adopted in which adhesive is applied to the surface of the plywood 7, the drying device is placed after the adhesive is applied. 6 is a backing plate, which has a convex shape opposite to that of the groove 8 formed on the surface of the plywood 7. It has a strip 9, and by feeding the sheet 2 along this patch plate 6,
A slack having a similar shape to the groove 8 is formed in the sheet 2. The backing plate 6 may be made of any material such as metal, synthetic resin, or wood, and has a curved surface that is curved toward the side that contacts the sheet 2 as shown in FIG. A protrusion 9 having a shape opposite to that of the groove 8 is formed on the groove 8 . Note that it is also possible to use a roll having protrusions on the circumferential surface instead of the backing plate 6. The sheet 2 with the slack formed is brought into contact with the surface of the plywood 7 in which one parallel groove is formed, which is conveyed by the feed roll 10 in the direction of the arrow a, and first the sheet is Press the slack part of 2 into the groove 8 of the plywood 7. Even if the groove presser roll 11 is a roll as shown in the figure,
Alternatively, it may be a thin roll that presses only the groove portion. Next, the sheet 2 is adhered to the surface of the plywood 7 using an ordinary smooth heat roll 12 heated to 50 to 80°C. This heat roll 12 may be a smooth roll, but the plywood 7
The roll may have protrusions on the circumferential surface of the portion corresponding to the grooves 8. Furthermore, as shown in the drawings, a roll 13 having protrusions on the circumferential surface may be disposed after the heat roll 12. The roll 13 itself may be heated, but hot air may be blown onto the sheet before the roll 13. Note that it is desirable that the groove presser roll 11 described above is placed in a process preceding the heat roll 12. This is because when the sheet 2 is thermocompression bonded to the flat surface of the plywood 7 and then pressed into the groove, only the slack part of the sheet 2 becomes the movable part when pressed into the groove, and the sheet 2
This is because if the sheet 2 attempts to move beyond the slack, there is a risk that the sheet 2 will be torn. If the sheet 2 is not thermocompression bonded to the flat part of the plywood 7, the sheet on the flat part can also be moved slightly, and the sheet 2 can be prevented from tearing. FIG. 4 is a partially cutaway perspective view of a decorative board with parallel grooves manufactured according to the present invention.

After forming a slack in the sheet in advance in a shape similar to the groove, the slack part of the sheet is first brought into contact with the groove by a groove presser roll on the substrate surface, so that the sheet can be brought into close contact with the inner surface of the groove of the substrate without force. It can be glued and the sheet will not tear at all.
