Difficult to encapsulate. For this reason, conventionally, this type of growth promoter has been supplied to seeds by performing a separate spraying operation without encapsulating it in a seed tape.

By incorporating trace elements such as growth promoters or growth regulators into the base material of the seed tape itself, the difficulty in encapsulating trace elements can be solved, and furthermore, by using a water-soluble resin film or nonwoven fabric as the base material. The present invention was achieved based on the discovery that the trace elements contained in this are smoothly dispersed into the soil and efficiently contribute to the germination and growth of seeds.

The reason why a water-soluble resin is used as a material is to enable drugs such as growth promoters dispersed therein to be smoothly eluted into the soil. As such water-soluble resin, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA
), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), water-soluble nylon (polyamide polymer), and water-soluble films made from starch fermentation products. Among these, PVA is most preferred. As the nonwoven fabric, one made of cotton, rayon, or the like is used.

Next, this molten PVA is processed into a film by a known method such as extrusion molding using a T-die to obtain a PVA film in which a growth promoter and the like are uniformly dispersed.

Furthermore, molten PVA in which a growth promoter is uniformly dispersed can be used as a binder for wet or dry nonwoven fabrics. Furthermore, since wet-laid nonwoven fabrics are made by dispersing fibers in water, the substance can also be dispersed in water and adsorbed onto the fibers.

When considering germination, it is best to keep the seed tape as thin as possible; however, thicker tape is used when it is necessary to increase the amount of chemical compounded depending on the geology of the land where the seeds are sown. In the case of nonwoven fabric, one with a weight of 12 g/m2 to 13 g/m2 is used.

Conventionally, such chemicals were rolled into the seed string together with the seeds, which not only resulted in a large amount of chemicals used, but also worsened the working atmosphere during the tape manufacturing process. In this way, by impregnating the tape with the chemical, it is possible to maintain a good work atmosphere during the seed string manufacturing work and prevent the onset of disease or mold even with the use of a small amount.

This blending amount and ratio can promote early growth such as seed germination and rooting (care should not be taken with the amount of the growth regulator, as both promoting and suppressing effects are observed). In this case, amino acids have the effect of delivering necessary protein nutrients to cells and have a growth-promoting effect as an organic enzyme source.
