をその穴の周辺から吹き飛ばす。

回転するため、ドリル工具2の溝に沿つて排出さ
れる切粉は、穴7の上面周辺にとどまつている
が、所定の加工深さに達すると、回転するブラシ
6によつて清掃される。また、加工終了後におい
てはドリル工具2を回転させながら引き上げれ
ば、穴7の周辺に落下する切粉は、回転するブラ
シ6によつて生じる旋回気流により排除される。
したがつて加工された穴の底や上面の周辺に切粉
が残ることはなく、きれいに除去される。

回転によつて生ずる旋回気流及び清掃作用によ
り、加工された穴の底や上面の周辺に切粉が残る
のを防止することができ、しかもドリル工具の回
転をその都度停止させる必要はない。
