Conventionally, this type of leather has been constructed by adhering a cloth such as gold cloth or stockinette to a soft polyurethane foam, and then adhering the leather to this cloth. In other words, two layers of fabric and polyurethane foam are formed on the back side of the leather, which has the drawback of increasing the number of manufacturing steps and reducing productivity.Also, strong adhesion between the leather and fabric cannot be obtained. It also has the disadvantage of low peel strength and poor processing performance with high-frequency welding.

Here, chair leather has been proposed in which leather is bonded to the surface of non-woven fabric, but it is said that chair leather using conventional non-woven fabric does not have sufficient strength of the non-woven fabric itself, and also has low processing performance during high-frequency welding processing. There were flaws.

In view of the above, this invention aims to provide leather using a nonwoven fabric which has improved adhesion to leather by using a nonwoven fabric as the base fabric, has high strength of the nonwoven fabric itself, and has high welding performance.

The gist of this invention is to include a low melting point material and a material with a high dielectric constant in a web of nonwoven fabric material. The structure is such that the welding performance with PVC-based leather, which also has a high dielectric constant, is improved by the reaction to high-frequency welding.

The structure of this invention will be explained below based on the illustrated embodiment. In FIG. 1, the A layer is a web containing a polyolefin material with a low melting point such as polyethylene or polypropylene, and the B layer is a web containing a high dielectric constant material such as PVC or nylon fibers. , needle punching is applied to the laminated structure of both layers A and B, which is further subjected to heat fusion processing using a dryer to form nonwoven fabric C, and PVC leather D is adhered to the upper surface of the nonwoven fabric C. High-frequency welding is applied to the surface side of the leather D to form deep grooves E to form the leather for the chair.

According to this invention, since the leather D is bonded to the nonwoven fabric whose web is needle-punched, the adhesive strength between the leather D and the nonwoven fabric C is high;
The layer contains a low melting point material, which is laminated with layer B, punched, and then heated and fused using a dryer, so the bond between layers A and B is strong and strong, and layer B also has a dielectric layer. Since it contains a material with a high dielectric constant, when welding the laser D, layer B, and layer A to form a deep groove E on the surface of the laser D using a high-frequency welder, the influence of the material with a high dielectric constant can be avoided. This improves processing performance and produces high-quality products. Note that leather having a nonwoven fabric as a base fabric has good cutting properties and appropriate cushioning properties.
