c Problems to be solved by the invention In order to prevent collapse due to inadequate underground drainage, it takes time and effort to cast expensive backfilling materials such as chestnut stone and concrete, and when the retaining wall is completed, nature is destroyed and greenery is lost. In addition, the conventional concrete retaining wall, which uses a large number of concrete blocks and concrete is poured and masonned behind them, becomes a rigid body and is prone to uneven settling of the ground. As a result, cracks may occur in the retaining wall, and in severe cases, the retaining wall may collapse due to the concentrated load of locally acting earth pressure.

Thus, retaining walls are built one after another while filling the voids formed on the soil receiving plate of each block with soil, and the soil filled in the voids on the soil receiving plate is held in a square shape and exposed. The slope is rammed with soil and compacted, and the grass grown on the slope is covered with pine-like soil clods, which are fixed using bamboo skewers or the like, or seeds and fertilizer are sprayed onto a net-like sheet. The retaining wall surface is greened in a checkerboard pattern by applying the sheet and stretching it on the slope surface, or by spraying the mixture of seeds and fertilizer onto the slope surface with a spray gun to create vegetation.

"Effects of the Invention" When a retaining wall is constructed using the basic blocks 4 for greening retaining walls according to the present invention, the weight of the basic blocks 4 and the weight of the soil 5 filled on the soil receiving plate 1 are added. In order to maintain a balance with the earth pressure applied behind the retaining wall, the side walls 2 of the basic blocks 4 are overlapped almost vertically to form a wall that continues upward, and the blocks are connected to each other by the bulge 2a of the side wall 2 and the front wall. The fitting of the front end of the lower part 1a and the fitting of the concave part 10 and the convex part 10' prevents sliding or shifting in the front, back, left, and right directions, and the mating end blocks 6 are fitted with the basic block 4 at both ends of the retaining wall in a convex-concave manner. In order to securely receive the basic block 4 by fitting it together and preventing it from shifting to the left or right, a retaining wall with a stable self-supporting structure is constructed. It is not necessary to do so.

In addition, by holding the soil 5 in a square shape when viewed from the front by the side walls 2, 2 and the soil receiving plate 1, and forming them at intervals on the retaining wall surface, the exposed surface of the soil is extremely When a wide, taut lawn grows, the retaining wall surface becomes green in a checkerboard pattern.
The front of basic block 4 is hidden and the entire retaining wall is covered with greenery, restoring the natural environment before land reclamation. Furthermore, the construction is simple and quick, and the fact that no backfilling material is required and that the basic blocks 4 are stacked at a distance from each other combine to save materials and provide excellent economic efficiency.

Since conventional concrete retaining walls form a rigid body as a whole, if the earth pressure behind the retaining wall concentrates locally, cracks may occur in those areas or, in extreme cases, the retaining wall may collapse. On the other hand, in the retaining wall constructed using the greening retaining wall block according to the present invention, the void space on the soil receiving plate 1 of the basic block 4 is filled with soil 5, and each basic block 4 is not fixed to each other. Since it has a non-rigid structure, even if there is a local concentration of earth pressure, the soil 5 in that area is pushed out to the front of the retaining wall and rises, and there is no adverse effect on the basic block 4 itself. There is no risk of cracks occurring or the retaining wall collapsing. Also, even if the ground sinks or rises, each block will
Since each side wall is flexibly joined by masonry pin joints, the entire retaining wall is prevented from being destroyed due to slight bending of the blocks at subsidence or uplift areas.

The concave portion 3 provided in the side wall 2 allows adjacent filled soil 5 to be continuous with each other, so that the soil is integrated and uniformly supplies water and nutrients, thereby promoting uniform growth of the lawn. Therefore, the slope is formed by dividing every other slope, and the slope has a gentle slope, and is covered with grass to prevent the soil 5 from flowing out due to heavy rain, thereby increasing the self-sustaining stability of the retaining wall. Furthermore, since water is retained in the soil receiving plate 1, the plants do not wither even during drought periods. Furthermore, on the front surface of the retaining wall constructed in this manner, a large number of dogleg-shaped protrusions formed by the front wall 1a and the slope of the soil 5 exposed on the surface are displayed in a checkerboard pattern. It has an excellent effect of attenuating the noise level by dispersing and reflecting car noise back to the source, preventing it from spreading far away, and the grass, shrubs, etc. grown on the soil 5 and the slope of the soil 5 absorb the noise and reduce the noise. It also has a silencing effect that reduces pollution.
