Generally, when constructing structures such as bridges and elevated expressways as described above, it has become customary to install a plurality of frame bodies in series. However,
When construction is carried out by installing such a structure in series, there is an advantage that it is possible to easily deal with changes such as deflection of the structure or expansion due to temperature because there is a gap between the connection parts of the structure body. On the other hand, rainwater and the like can enter through the gaps, causing deterioration of the frame. To solve this problem, conventional methods have been to cut out the upper ends of the building blocks that face each other with a gap between the connecting parts, provide metal angle members in these parts, and attach a flexible piece to the upper part of the angle members. The fixing member is fixed with a water stop material interposed, and a long metal cover material is placed on top of the fixing member so that it is flush with the top surface of the main body, and one side of the cover material is placed flush with the upper surface of the main body. Alternatively, as seen in Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-23045, an elastic support material is attached to the notch of the opposing concrete frame body, and the gap between the frame bodies is fixed on top of it. A covering water stop material is stretched, a cover material is placed over it, and both ends of the cover material are brought into direct engagement and contact with the main body of the structure, and one end of the cover material is fixed to one of the main bodies of the structure. By doing so, gaps at the joints were dealt with.

However, in such a treatment method, since the cover material directly engages and abuts both of the fixing members or the concrete frame body, there is a drawback that noise is generated due to vibration. In addition, if both building blocks are displaced in different directions, for example, if the building block to which the cover material is not fixed rises higher than the building block body to which the cover material is fixed, the rising force will cause the covering material to move upward. When the non-fixed side of the cover is lifted, the cover material bends and deforms, creating a gap between it and the main body, allowing rainwater to enter, and if the cover material is thick, the screws that secure it may deteriorate. It has the disadvantage of being destroyed. In addition, especially when both ends of the cover material are in direct contact with the upper surface of the main body of the building structure as in the above-mentioned publication, the top surface of the concrete main body of the main structure is actually uneven, so the cover material and the main body are always in contact with each other. This is not preferable because a gap is formed between the main body and the main body for rainwater and the like to enter.

Therefore, the present invention was developed in view of the above points, and the water stop plate is provided between the fixing member and the cover material to solve the conventional difficulties. The main points of the invention are as follows: A cutout is provided on the upper surface of the opposing end of the frame body of a bridge, road, building floor, etc. that is placed opposite to each other, and a metal fixing member is installed in the cutout via a fixture, and
An elastic water-stopping material is placed on the top of these fixing members to cover the gap between the opposing frame bodies, and a cover material is placed on top of the water-stopping material. It is characterized in that the side is screwed onto the fixing member of one of the frame bodies with screws.

When constructing the expansion joint A, first, the upper end of the fixture 3 that protrudes upward in the notches 2, 2 is projected into the grooves 12, 12, and the nut 15, 15 are screwed together, and the fixing members 4,
The fixing members 4, 4 are fixed in a predetermined position by vertically adjusting the fixing members 4, 4, and a water stop material 5 is stretched over the top of these opposing fixing members 4, 4. Covers the gap between the main bodies 1 and 1. After that, the groove portion 12,
12 is filled with fillers 13, 13 such as asphalt, a cover material 6 is provided on the water stop material 5, and this cover material 6 is fixed together with the water stop material 5 to one of the fixing members 4. Finally, after filling the gap between the frame bodies 1 and 1 with foamed polystyrene, etc., the notches 2 and 2 are filled with cement, concrete, etc. 10 and 10.

According to the expansion joint A having the above configuration, since the water stop material 5 is interposed between the fixing members 4, 4 and the cover material 6, the vibration of the cover material 6 does not directly affect the fixing member. 4, 4, thereby preventing the generation of vibration noise. Further, the fixing members 4, 4 are directly and stably and reliably fixed to the main frame body, and there is no wobbling due to deterioration of the water stop material 5 as in the conventional case. Since the water stop material 5 is placed on the fixtures 3, 3, the fixtures 3, 3 are protected from rainwater and the like.
Furthermore, the upper ends of the fixtures 3, 3 are fixed members 4, 4.
It is housed in the grooves 12, 12 of and does not protrude from the surface of the frames 1, 1. Moreover, since the surface of the cover material 6 has an uneven shape, there is no possibility of slipping. Then, one of the fixing members 4 of the cover material 6
Since it is integrally screwed only to the fixing member 4 and is free to the other fixing member 4, both the main bodies 1 and 1
Even if their relative positions are displaced due to fluctuations, the displacements are sufficiently absorbed.

In addition, what is shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 is another embodiment, and the concave groove portions 12,
12 is preferably equipped with anti-corrosion materials 11, 11 and filled with fillers 13, 13 from above,
This prevents penetration of rainwater and the like, and also prevents corrosion of the fixtures 3, 3. In particular, the fixing members 4, 4 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3
is the height of the parts 4a, 4a far from the gap between the main bodies
h1 is the height of parts 4b and 4b that are closer to the above gap
Since it is higher than h2, the load on the cover material 6 is mainly applied to the parts 4a, 4a, so the parts 4b, 4b are not required to have much strength.
Therefore, the load on the fixing members 4, 4 is borne by almost one half, and the load on the other halves 4b, 4b is reduced, and it is possible to prevent tearing and damage due to the load on the water stop material 5, and there is no void here. Part 4c, 4c
can be provided.

The fixture for the fixing member 4 is a bolt 2 fixed to an anchor plug 21 embedded in the frame 1 in advance, as provided in the frame 1 on the right side of FIG.
2 may be used, or a part of the intersecting reinforcing bars 3, 3a may be used, as provided in the frame 1 on the left side of the figure. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 3, the bolt 20 is directly buried in the frame.
The fixing member 4 may be screwed onto the fixing member 4.
Of course, these fixture configurations can also be applied to the embodiment of FIG.

As explained in detail above, according to the expansion joint according to the present invention, the cover material is screwed to the fixing member, but there is elasticity between the cover material and the fixing member at this screwed part. Since there is a water-stopping material in between, there is no possibility that the cover material will be deformed due to displacement of the main body, or that the threaded part where the cover material is screwed onto the fixing member will deteriorate or be destroyed. do not have. Furthermore, since the cover material is in close contact with the water-stopping material, there is no gap where rainwater or the like can enter. Furthermore, since the vibration of the frame body is absorbed by the water-stopping material and not transmitted to the cover material, a unique effect can be obtained in that the cover material is prevented from vibrating and generating noise.
