テールを減少させ得るようにした幅圧延装置に関
するものである。

きる。しかし、この場合には特別な予成形プレス
装置が必要となつて圧延設備ライン長の増大、設
備費の高騰等の問題が生じる。このため、竪ロー
ルの外周に、プレスをする面が平坦になつた金型
を旋回自在に設け、予成形プレス時には金型を旋
回させて該金型によりスラブの先後端隅部を予成
形プレスする方法が考えられているが、この場合
には金型の停止精度が問題になる。

いる。図中9,9′は幅圧延用の流体圧シリンダ
