In the case of the former transport device using a trolley, the processing work is performed on the workpiece supported by the trolley while the trolley is traveling within the processing chamber. According to this, paint, dust, etc. will adhere to the cart, resulting in various problems such as meshing with the conveyor, loss of drying energy due to natural increase in weight of the cart, and problems such as deterioration over time. Furthermore, paint and dust removal work must be performed frequently, which increases maintenance inspection and running costs. The same is true for the latter hanging conveyance device, where paint and dust adhere to the secondary hanger that replaces the cart, causing the same problems as described above. In order to solve these problems, for example,
- As seen in Publication No. 81759, an automobile body transported through a hanger of a trolley conveyor is lowered by a drop lifter, unloaded from the hanger onto a fixed position stop conveyor, and then transported by a fixed position stop conveyor. The car body is sequentially sent to multiple work stages, and after being positioned using a positioning tool and subjected to sealing work, the car body is received by a hanger placed on another drop lifter and raised, and then transported to the desired destination by a trolley conveyor. A format is provided to do this.

It cannot be used in the painting processing department where it is required. Furthermore, since the car body always faces in the same direction on a work stage line, processing work cannot be easily performed from all directions.

In this state, both support members of the entrance side transfer device are moved close to each other to plunge under the pallet, and then the support members are raised, and the object to be processed is lifted together with the pallet and held on the movable member side. Then, after moving the movable member to the entrance part, it is operated in the opposite manner to the above,
The object to be processed is lowered onto the processing unit conveyance device via a pallet. Next, the processing section transport device advances the workpiece by one pitch, and the lifting device lifts the workpiece through the pallet by the rising rotary table.
In this state, processing operations such as painting and polishing are performed on the object to be processed, and the direction can be changed by rotating the rotary table together with the rotary table depending on the necessity of the operation. The workpieces that have reached the outlet through these operations are received along with the pallet by the same action as the inlet side of the outlet-side transfer device, and then transferred onto the trolley that has passed around the processing chamber. .

2 and 23 are engaged with the locked members 14 and 15, the dolly 9 is driven along the conveyance line 27 together with the dolly 9 under the driving force of the drive device 6. The cart 3 is then stopped at the entrance portion 28 of the processing chamber 25. In this state, the entrance side transfer device 57
operates and transfers the object to be processed 35 to the processing section transport device 36. That is, first, both slide plates 66 move toward each other and enter the lower part of the pallet 30. Next, the slide plate 66 is raised by the operation of the cylinder device 67, and the workpiece 35 is lifted together with the pallet 30 and held on the side of the portal frame 65. Then, the cylinder device 64 is actuated to advance the pinion 63, and the movement and rotation of the pinion 63 advances the movable rack 62 by double the length. As a result, the object to be processed 35 is advanced through the portal frame 65 and positioned at the entrance portion 28 . In this state, the inlet side transfer device 57 is operated in the opposite manner to the above, and the pallet 30 is
The object to be processed 35 is lowered onto both transport bars 40 and 41 of the processing unit transport device 36 via the transporter 35 . Next, the forward/reverse drive device 45 is operated to advance both conveying bars 40, 41 by one pitch via the pinion 44 and rack 43, so that the pallet 30 is opposed to the first lift device 46. Then, the drive device 55 is operated, and the connecting rod 54 and link mechanisms 53, 47, 4
8, the lifting platform 49 is raised. As a result, the engaging protrusion 52 of the rotary table 51 engages with the engaging hole 31, and the rotary table 51 further contacts and lifts the pallet 30. In this state, processing operations such as painting and polishing on the object 35 are performed manually or automatically. During the processing operation, the workpiece 35 is rotated about the vertical axis 79 manually or automatically. This rotation is made possible by rotating the rotary table 51 with respect to the lifting table 49 via the ball support 50. Note that during the processing work, the conveyance bars 40 and 41 are moved back. After completing the intended processing work, the lifting platform 49 is lowered and the pallet 3
0 is placed on the transport bars 40, 41 again.
The pallet 30 is conveyed one pitch by the operation of the conveyor bars 40, 41. In this way, while being conveyed one pitch at a time, processing work is performed at each stop section. During such work, the empty cart 3 at the entrance section 28
travels along a detour route formed outside the surrounding wall body 26 and is stopped at an exit portion 29. The pallet 30 supporting the workpiece 35 that has reached the end of the processing unit transport device 36 is transferred as described above by the exit side transfer device 68 which operates in the opposite direction to the inlet side transfer device 57. It is delivered to an empty trolley 3 waiting at the exit section 29. The cart 3 is then transported to the next process.

In the processing chamber 25, it is possible to carry out transportation that can respond to a high takt time, such as by a robot, and it is also possible to carry out transportation with higher precision than in a chain transportation type.

That is, since the main transport device consisting of a trolley or a floor conveyor does not pass through the processing chamber, it is possible to prevent paint, dust, etc. from adhering to the main transport device. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the loss of drying energy due to the natural increase in weight on the main conveyance device side, and also to prevent various problems caused by adhesion of paint and dust, such as meshing with the conveyor, and to prevent aging and rigidity. This is advantageous in terms of manufacturing accuracy, and moreover, stable transportation using a trolley can be performed outside the processing chamber. As described above, according to the present invention, the work for removing paint and dust can be greatly reduced, and maintenance inspection and running costs can be reduced. In particular, according to the present invention, since the conveyance by both conveyance devices and the transfer by both transfer devices are performed via pallets, there is no direct contact with the objects to be processed, and no damage occurs.
It can be advantageously employed mainly in the painting processing section. Furthermore, the object to be processed can be oriented in any direction, and processing operations can be easily performed from all directions.
