Up until now, attempts have been made to develop various gold and silver threads, but most of the gold and silver threads that have been put into practical use are so-called flat foil threads, which are limited to flat threads and do not have the luster of their own. There was no change in color or color, and it was tasteless. Therefore, attempts have been made to produce thick gold and silver threads by attaching decorative pieces, but these have not yet been put to practical use due to texture, strength, and other reasons.

The gold and silver thread of the present invention has a resin foam layer in a pattern on the surface of the paper through an adhesive layer, and decorative thin pieces selected from gold and silver foil, colored foil, and shell flakes are pasted on the surface of the resin foam layer. A coloring agent is applied thereon, and a resin protective film is further formed on the sheet-like material, which is then cut into threads.

The paper may be plain Japanese paper, but it is preferably colored paper or gold and silver paper, and it is particularly preferable to use colored paper with a pattern on which foil is pasted.

Next, the glue layer formed on the surface of the paper improves the adhesion of the resin foam layer, and the decorative flakes such as gold and silver foil that are pasted on the resin foam layer adhere around it.
This is to prevent stains from occurring, and is preferably formed on the entire surface of the paper. Note that this glue layer is preferably formed of an aqueous glue such as casein.

Further, the resin foam layer may be formed by either mechanical foaming or chemical foaming of the resin, but it is preferable to mix a foaming agent with the resin and foam it by heating.
It is preferable to apply decorative flakes with a resin before drying and stick them using the adhesive force of the resin.

Coloring on the foamed resin layer may be done using any coloring agent, but it is preferable to use a colored lacquer.By applying this coloring to the entire surface of the foamed resin layer, the decorations created during the foaming of the resin can be colored. The concave areas such as cracks in the flakes and the convex areas around them produce an interesting product with varying shades of color. Incidentally, the colored sheet-like material may be coated over the entire surface.

次に、実施例を図面に従つて簡単に説明する。 Next, embodiments will be briefly described with reference to the drawings.

In this example, the surface of Japanese paper is colored vermilion and silver foil is scattered on the patterned foil paper 1, and a paste using casein is applied thinly to form a paste layer 2 on the entire surface. A foaming agent is mixed into the acrylic resin, and the green colored resin liquid 3' is screen-printed.Next, a green colored foil is placed on this resin layer, heated, and gold of the same color is placed on the resin foam layer 3. A three-dimensional sheet having glossy decorative flakes 4 was formed (see drawings A to D).

Next, a pale red colored lacquer is applied onto the decorative thin piece 4 on the resin foam layer 3, and polyurethane is further coated to form a protective film 6 (see drawings E and F), after which it is cut into threads. The gold and silver thread of the present invention was obtained.

In this gold and silver thread, the resin foam layer 3 was strongly adhered to the paper 1 due to the presence of the glue layer 2, and it had a three-dimensional effect, a good texture, and was strong.

Subtle changes in the yin-yang luster of the patterned foil on the surface of the paper 1 and the decorative flakes 4 with metallic luster on the resin foam layer 3, that is, the surface of the convex portions, and furthermore, complex color changes due to the colored lacquer placed on top of them. In other words, the valleys are darkly colored and the protrusions are lightly colored, and the luster and color differ depending on where the foil is present and where it is not, resulting in a very varied design. It is highly effective.

In this example, since the glue layer 2 was applied to the entire surface, a high-quality product was obtained without unduly staining one side of the paper in the subsequent processing steps. In addition, since the resin is heated and foamed after pasting the colored foil, that is, the decorative thin piece 4, as the resin expands, depressions are created on the surface of the resin foam layer 3 where the decorative thin piece 4 is not present, and the coloring material is absorbed there. The effect is somewhat stronger, and of course the luster is also different, giving the gold and silver thread a complex and interesting appearance.
