[Detailed explanation of the invention] <Industrial application field> This invention was developed in order to prevent abuse by using a copying machine to create documents that are confusingly similar to the real thing. To provide a copy-preventing paper in which a pattern appears, making it difficult to read written contents such as recorded characters, making it obvious at a glance that the document is not a genuine document, and making it difficult to copy again.

<Prior art> With the advent of high-precision copying machines, it has become possible to copy various documents in a state that is confusingly similar to the real thing, resulting in misuse such as forgery and alteration, and as a result, documents that have been taken with measures to prevent misuse have become more common. Various proposals have been made. For example, the technology disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 58-47708 and Utility Model Application Publication No. 54-126736 is one such technology. When a copy is made, latent characters such as "VOID" that were hidden until then appear on the copy. is intended to be. The former technique makes the halftone dots that make up the latent characters and the background different in size, and takes advantage of the property that when applied to a copying machine, large halftone dots are reproduced, while small halftone dots are not. This creates a difference in shading between the latent image and the background, making them distinguishable. In order to prevent the latent image from being distinguished from the background before copying, a camouflage pattern is incorporated into both to finely separate the latent image from the background. The latter technique combines parallel lines of the same thickness vertically and horizontally, and its main purpose is to make latent characters appear by taking advantage of differences in the way toner is applied depending on the developing direction of the copying machine. According to this technology, the lines in the direction that matches the development direction appear darker, and the lines in the direction that does not match appear lighter, creating a difference in shading between the latent image and the background, making the presence of the latent image visible. .

問題がある。
<Problem that the invention aims to solve> The former technique uses the difference in size of halftone dots,
Since the halftone dots themselves have poor reproducibility with a copying machine, the latent characters do not appear very clearly, but on the other hand, the recorded characters written on the paper are clearly recognized, so the content of the document can be easily understood and copied. The latter technique has the disadvantage of having to re-copy the printed paper, and the latter technique becomes useless because vertical and horizontal lines appear at the same density in a flash-type copying machine, which is unrelated to the direction of development. Another problem is that, like the former technique, the recorded characters are clearly reproduced, so the contents of the document can be immediately known and can be easily recopied.

<Means for solving the problem> This idea is intended to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art. That is, the entire surface of the base paper 1 is covered with parallel lines 2 of about 10% of the 50 lines and halftone dots of about 10% of the 150 lines. 3 is a geometric pattern/
This is a copy-prevention paper characterized by forming a dazzling pattern 4 by combining wave shapes and the like.

<Function> Now, when the above-mentioned paper is run through a copying machine, line 2 is reproduced and appears in a dark color (black in the case of normal copying), but halftone dot 3 is not reproduced and becomes a light color (white). A clear distinction is made, and the previously invisible dazzling pattern 4 is clearly recognized on the copy paper, and the recorded characters (not shown) written on the surface are also naturally reproduced, and the recorded characters are recognized as the dazzling pattern. It becomes difficult to read due to interference between the light and dark areas that make up the image. When the copied paper is further run through a copying machine as an original, the dark-colored areas appear even darker, while the light-colored areas remain as they are, making the dazzling pattern more noticeable.

<Example> To explain the drawings below, base paper 1 in Figure 1
, a dazzling pattern 4 is formed by combining lines 2 of 50 lines 10% and halftone dots 3 of 150 lines 10% in a geometric pattern on the entire surface, and Figure 2 is the same as above. The numerical lines 2 and the halftone dots 3 are combined in a wave shape to form a dazzling pattern 4. Figure 3 is the first
This is a copy of the paper shown in the figure.A dazzling geometric pattern 4' consisting of dark colored areas 2' corresponding to the lines and light colored areas 3' corresponding to the halftone dots appears on the copy paper 1'. There is. In other words, the line 2 that takes the above-mentioned value is clearly reproduced by a copying machine, so the dark color part 2'
On the other hand, since the halftone dots 3 are not reproduced and are cut off, the ground color surface of the copy paper 1' appears as is, forming the light color area 3', and therefore the dazzling pattern 4' is obvious at a glance. recognized.

〈考案の効果〉 この考案は次のような特有の効果を発揮する。<Effect of invention> This idea has the following unique effects.

(1) A dazzling pattern such as a geometric pattern is applied to the entire surface of the base paper, and when copies are made, the pattern appears on the entire copy paper and creates an annoying appearance, dazzling the naked eye and causing recorded characters to interfere with the pattern. As a result, it becomes difficult to read, making it difficult to decipher the contents of the document and preventing forgery.

(2) A dazzling pattern consists of a combination of lines that are reliably reproduced and become dark colored areas when copied, and halftone dots that are not reproduced and become light colored areas. In contrast, the clarity of the copied image is high, and it is not affected by the development direction or shading adjustment of the copying machine.

(3) Since the dazzling pattern does not have a specific meaning like the conventional latent characters that display "VOID", there is no risk of damaging the appearance of the paper even if it is seen to some extent by careful observation. Therefore, there is no need to provide a camouflage pattern.

(4) コピーされた用紙全面に眩惑パターンが鮮明

(4) The dazzling pattern clearly appears on the entire surface of the copied paper, making it obvious that it is a copy, and when the copied paper is copied as an original, the dazzling pattern is reproduced even more clearly. This prevents re-copying.
