A bucket elevator has a large number of buckets attached to an annular belt stretched between upper and lower pulleys, and by circulating these buckets, it scoops up the material supplied from the outside at the bottom of the machine. The object is transported upwards, and the conveyed object is discharged by the rolling bucket at the upper end. However, if, for example, the discharge port becomes clogged for some reason and the bucket cannot discharge normally, the objects transported to the top of the machine may fall apart inside the machine and return to the bottom of the machine. As a result, the bottom of the machine is filled with the returned conveyed objects and conveyed objects supplied from the outside, and the movement of the annular belt is hindered. As a result, the annular belt slips at the drive pulley, resulting in a belt breakage accident. In addition, the filling of the conveyed material at the bottom of the machine also affects equipment in the preceding process, causing serious trouble.

The present invention aims to provide an accident detection device to solve these problems, and its features are as follows:
We focus on the amount of conveyed material that falls back to the bottom of the machine without being ejected normally, and when this falling amount exceeds a certain value, we can quickly detect this condition and stop the operation. A funnel-shaped device is installed in part or all of the area of the bucket elevator where the transported objects fall, and a funnel-shaped device is installed at the bottom of the funnel-shaped device to receive the falling objects. forms a discharge opening through which a predetermined amount of conveyed material can pass, and if the falling amount is less than a predetermined amount, it is sequentially discharged through this discharge opening, and if the falling amount exceeds a predetermined value, the discharge amount from the discharge opening is increased. When conveyed material accumulates in the funnel, a retention detection device attached to the funnel-shaped device is activated to detect an abnormality.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The accident detection device of the present invention will be described below with reference to embodiments of the drawings. 1 is the casing of the bucket elevator, and 2 is the lower pulley. A belt 3 is stretched between the lower pulley 2 and the upper pulley (not shown), and a motor connected to the upper pulley is driven to move the belt.
Buckets (not shown) attached at equal intervals are moved in circulation, and the buckets scoop up the material at the bottom of the machine, transport it upwards, and the buckets roll at the top of the machine. emit something. Reference numeral 4 denotes an inclined guide plate for preventing objects from getting caught, and is fixedly installed so as to cover the upper surface of the lower pulley 2. The illustrated inclined guide plate 4 has a chevron shape with inclined surfaces formed on the left and right sides, is provided across the entire width between the belts 3 on both sides, and completely covers the upper surface of the lower pulley 2.
Therefore, as a result of the conveyed object falling from above being guided to the side by this inclined guide plate 4, it is not likely to get stuck between the belt 3 and the lower pulley 2 and be bitten by the belt. Otherwise, the conveyed items may break or
The belt 3 and pulley 2 will not be damaged. 5 is a side wall plate that supports the inclined guide plate 4;
They are provided so as to be substantially in contact with the belts 3 on both sides. Reference numeral 6 denotes a funnel-shaped device for receiving fallen conveyed objects, and in the illustrated example, it is constructed using an inclined guide plate 4 on one side. That is, the four wall surfaces constituting the funnel are formed by the inclined guide plate 4, the side wall plates 5 on both sides, and the actuating plate 7 located so as to face the inclined guide plate 4. Further, the upper end of the operating plate 7 is hinged so that it can swing freely. Furthermore, it is provided that when the actuating plate 7 is hanging down in its natural state, a discharge opening 8 for the conveyed material occurs at the lower end of the funnel-shaped device 6. The size of this discharge opening 8 changes as the actuating plate 7 swings, but when the actuating plate 7 is in a natural hanging state, the discharge opening 8 becomes a predetermined size, and the fallen conveyed objects are sequentially discharged from this discharge opening 8. be done. When the falling flow rate of the conveyed objects is within the amount that can pass through the discharge opening, the conveyed objects are sequentially discharged from the discharge opening 8, and the conveyed objects do not remain in the funnel. Conversely, if the amount of falling objects increases due to some reason such as an accident, the amount of objects that can be transported exceeds the amount that can be discharged from the discharge opening, and the objects accumulate in the funnel.
This accumulated conveyed material presses the actuating plate 7. Actuation plate 7
Rod 9 is attached to the rod 9, and this rod 9
The tip extends outside the casing 1 and is designed to turn the micro switch 10 on and off. Therefore, when the amount of fallen objects accumulated in the funnel reaches a certain level, the operating plate 7 is pushed and oscillated by the pressing force of the accumulated objects, and the tip of the rod 9 touches the micro switch 10. Operate. The signal from this micro switch 10 is sent to the pulley drive motor and alarm device, and is used to stop the operation of the bucket elevator, stop the operation of equipment in the previous process, and even notify the occurrence of an abnormality. .

In the present invention, the funnel-shaped device 6 for receiving fallen conveyed objects may be provided separately from the inclined guide plate 4, and its installation position is also free. Furthermore, the actuating plate 7
Instead of being hinged, a spring plate may be installed vertically, and the actuating plate 7 or the micro switch 1 may be used to detect the accumulation of conveyed objects.
It is not necessary to use 0, and any device that can accurately detect the stagnation situation may be used.

As described above, in the accident detection device of the present invention, the occurrence of an accident is detected based on the amount of fallen conveyed objects.
Due to various reasons such as clogging of the conveyed material discharge port due to equipment failure in the next process, or increased operating load, the material may not be discharged normally from the bucket.
The occurrence of these accidents can be detected reliably and quickly when the amount of conveyed objects that fall back inside the machine increases. In addition, since it detects when the amount of falling conveyed objects increases, it is possible to detect an accident at an early stage, and this allows prompt measures to be taken, preventing equipment damage and work loss due to accidents. This is extremely useful in practice because it can reduce the amount of load as much as possible, and even when the operating load increases, it can be dealt with at a stage where the increase is relatively small, that is, before it becomes a complete overload, so it is possible to continue operation as is when restarting. This is very convenient in practice since it can be restarted and there is no need to restart the system after a complete overload, which requires removing a certain amount of conveyed objects from the bucket before starting the system. Furthermore, in the present invention, a funnel-shaped device is used to receive part or all of the falling objects, and an increase in the flow rate of the falling objects is detected based on the amount of the objects staying in the funnel, so detection is reliable. Therefore, failures are less likely to occur, and the detection-related device can be made simple in structure and inexpensive.
