DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a reversal prevention device for a dehydrating and washing machine, which allows the dehydration and washing tank to rotate only in one direction, especially during dehydration rotation. The purpose is to improve the durability of springs.

As a spring for preventing reverse rotation in a dehydrating washing machine, the configurations shown in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 53-50291 and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 53-5410 are common. That is, the spring is wound around the dewatering shaft with a slight tightening margin, and one end of the spring is fixed to the outer case. In the winding direction of this spring, that is, in the tightening direction, rotation of the dehydration shaft is prevented, and in the loosening direction, rotation is allowed.

That is, if the direction in which the spring is loosened is set as the time of dehydration operation, there will be no problem since the direction of rotation during dehydration may be constant. On the other hand, during washing operation, it is common to use a pulsator to rotate the clothes in the dehydration/washing tank in forward and reverse directions to enhance the washing effect. At this time, due to the movement of the clothes, the clothes rub or collide with the spin-drying/washing tank, and the contact resistance causes the spin-drying/washing tank to rotate. Generally, a band brake, etc. is used to stop the movement of the dewatering/washing tank, but this band brake usually has different braking torque in the forward and reverse directions, and the braking torque is low in the reverse direction. . Therefore, by using a spring to prevent rotation during the reverse rotation, the rotation of the tub due to the resistance of the clothes during washing is prevented, and the cleaning effect due to the washing action is not reduced. On the other hand, in the forward rotation direction, the brake torque is large due to the characteristics of the band brake, and there is no rotation around the tub when washing. In addition, if this normal rotation is set to the rotation direction during the dehydration operation, it is the direction in which the spring is loosened, and the dehydration rotation is possible, and the brake torque is also large when you want to stop the dehydration operation. Shorter operating time and higher safety.

In other words, when the spring for preventing reverse rotation rotates for dehydration, the dehydration shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the spring are in a state of sliding friction, which causes wear over long periods of use.
There were cases where it was not possible to obtain the interference with the proposed shaft. If this tightening margin changes, the inversion prevention function cannot be achieved, causing co-rotation during washing, which reduces the washing effect of the pulsator. As a countermeasure against this,
For example, if you apply grease or the like to the inner circumferential surface of the spring or the surface of the dewatering shaft at the beginning, sliding friction will be smoother and durability will be improved, but the amount of grease is just enough to fit between the dehydrating shaft and the spring. In any case, since it is in a small amount, it cannot be expected to significantly improve durability. Even if a large amount of grease is initially applied to the dewatering shaft, it will be rubbed off when the spring is inserted, and only a small amount will adhere to the sliding parts. Furthermore, since the dewatering shaft rotates at high speed, this grease may be scattered outward by centrifugal force, so that wear cannot be significantly reduced.

The present invention has been made in view of these conventional problems, and embodiments thereof will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the figure, in a water tank 1, a dehydration/washing tank 3 is rotatably disposed in a water tank 1, and a pulsator 2 for stirring clothes is supported at the center of the inner bottom so as to be rotatable left and right.

The dehydration/washing tank 3 is supported by a dehydration shaft 4 which coaxially supports the rotating shaft of the pulsator 2 inside. The dewatering shaft 4 is rotatably supported by upper and lower bearings 7 and 8, such as ball bearings, which are housed in an upper housing 5 and a lower housing 6 fixed to the outer bottom of the water tank 1. A brake wheel 9 is fixed to a part of the dehydration shaft 4, and a brake shoe 1 is attached to the outer periphery of the brake wheel 9.
A brake band 11 is wrapped around the brake band 11 via the wire 0.
A lever 12 is rotatably disposed at one end of the brake band 11, and the actuation of the lever 12 causes the brake band 11 to press into and out of the brake wheel 9, thereby opening and closing the braking operation.

A coil portion 13a of a spring 13 for preventing reverse rotation is wound around the dewatering shaft 4 in the form of a spring clutch with an appropriate tightness, and one end thereof forms an open end 14 at the upper side. An outwardly extending portion 15 is provided at the other end of the coil portion 13a, and the end thereof is fixed to the lower housing 5 with a screw 16.

A spring 13 is installed inside the upper housing 5.
A cap member 17 having a generally dish-shaped cross section is disposed so as to enclose the open end 14 of the cap member. This cap member 17
is fixed to the upper housing 5 at its upper flange portion 18 with rivets 19 or the like.
That is, a space 20 is formed between the cap member 17, the upper bearing 7 housed in the upper housing 5, and the dewatering shaft 4. This space 20 is filled with a lubricant such as grease.

Although it is desirable that the gap 21 between the coil portion 13a of the spring 13 and the cap member 17 be as small as possible to prevent grease from falling, the size of the gap 21 that can be assembled should be set in consideration of variations in mass production, tolerance width, etc. . The grease filled in the space 20 does not come into direct contact with the dewatering shaft 4 when it rotates, but it constantly adheres to the open end 14 of the spring 13 and the outer periphery of the spring 13, so that it can have a lubricating effect. If the cap member 17 is formed to extend further downward so as to cover the entire height of the coil portion 13a of the spring 13, the entire outer periphery of the coil portion 13a will be adhered to the grease, thereby improving durability. Although this is a significant improvement, in view of the original purpose, it is not necessarily necessary to extend the coil portion 13a to a shape that covers the entire coil portion 13a. That is, the rotation of the dehydration shaft 4 is in a direction that loosens the coil portion 13a of the spring 13, resulting in a so-called screw action. FIG. 2 shows the coil portion 13 in detail, and as is clear in the figure, the coil 1 of the spring 13
There is a minute gap 22 between the adjacent lines forming 3a. When the dehydration shaft 4 rotates clockwise as shown in the direction of arrow A in FIG.
This is also the direction in which the coil portion 13a of No. 3 is loosened, but the lubricant such as grease that has entered the minute gap 22 is pushed out downward in FIG. Therefore, the space 20 formed by the cap member 17 and the lubricant filled therein need only be formed so as to cover at least the vicinity of the upper open end 14 of the coil portion 13a. The shape of the cap member 17 may be determined depending on the life of the product, the size of the coil portion 13a, etc., but it is necessary to cover at least the vicinity of the open end 14 of the coil portion 13a with the cap member 17 so that the lubricant comes into contact with the open end 14. There is.

Other effects of filling the space 20 inside the cap member 17 with lubricant are as follows:
Directly above the spring 13 is a bearing 7 fixed to the upper housing 5;
The lower surface of the space 20 is covered with grease or the like filled in the space 20, so that rust prevention and dust prevention effects can be expected.

As described above, the present invention can significantly improve the durability of the spring for preventing reverse rotation during dehydration rotation and the sliding part of this spring with a simple structure, and also prevent rust of the upper bearing of the dehydration shaft. , it can also exhibit dust-proofing effects.
