At the bottom of the elevator hoistway, when the car falls too far from the bottom floor, it collides with the car, and when the car rises too far from the top floor, it collides with the counterweight.
Oil-filled shock absorbers will be installed to cushion each impact. This is shown in FIG.

That is, when a car or a counterweight (hereinafter referred to as an elevating body) descends due to a failure of the elevator, its bottom portion collides with the opening/closing device 7, and the plunger 5 is pushed down. At this time, the hydraulic oil 2 is blown out from the gap between the orifice hole 5c at the bottom of the plunger 5 and the control rod 3 to the top. By adjusting and controlling the flow rate of the hydraulic oil 2 that blows out this gap by changing the cross-sectional shape of the control rod 3, the reaction force during the buffer stroke of the oil-filled shock absorber is kept approximately constant. Orifice hole 5
A part of the hydraulic oil 2 blown upward from the gap c is blown out from the air hole 5b. The heavier the lifting body collides with the hydraulic oil 2 blown out from the air hole 5b, the higher the pressure of the hydraulic oil 2 being pushed from the plunger 5, and the larger the amount of oil blown out. It cannot be applied to heavy and large elevators.

This invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks by providing an oil-filled shock absorber for an elevator that prevents oil from blowing out from the air hole even if high-pressure hydraulic oil blows out from the gap in the orifice hole. purpose.

An embodiment of this invention will be explained below with reference to FIG.

In the figure, 6a is an air hole protruding from the upper plate 6, 7a
is an air hole with a diameter of about 2 mm that communicates with the air hole 6a and communicates with the outside air through a switch device 7 made of a material such as rubber and which also serves as a buffer piece. The rest is the same as in FIG. However, the air hole 5b of the plunger 5
is not provided.

Now, if the elevating body collides with the shock absorber, the opening/closing device 7
is compressed and the air hole 7a is collapsed, so
Even if the high-pressure hydraulic oil 2 blows out from the gap in the orifice hole 5c, the hydraulic oil 2 does not blow out from the air hole 7a.

Further, when the elevating body returns, the plunger 5 is raised by the return spring 8 and returns to its original position. At this time, since no load acts on the opening/closing device 7, the air hole 7a returns to a 2 mm hole. Therefore, the pressure in the hollow part 5a of the plunger 5 becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure, so that the hydraulic oil 2 that has entered the hollow part 5a of the plunger 5 when the plunger 5 is compressed flows into the lower part of the plunger 5 and inside the cylinder 1. Return to original position.

As explained above, in this device, an air hole is provided in the head of the plunger of the oil-filled shock absorber and is formed in a direction that intersects with the direction of elevation of the elevating body. A switching device made of a viscoelastic material that also serves as a buffer piece that closes the communication between the plunger hole and the outside air by elastically deforming and closing the air hole, and opens when the pressure is removed, allows for a simple configuration. The oil-filled shock absorber can be manufactured at a low cost, prevents hydraulic oil from blowing out when the oil-filled shock absorber is operated, and can be applied to even larger elevators.
