It must be placed face down and within the specified position indicator. Particularly in the case of books, the above-mentioned operation is required every time a page is changed, which has the drawback of increasing the number of copying steps.

FIG. 2 is a schematic explanatory diagram showing the internal mechanism. In the figure, 6 is an optical path length constant mechanism, 7 is a lens, 8 is an electrophotographic system including a photosensitive drum 8a, 9 is a fixing device, 10 is a sheet of paper, and 14 is a hopper, which are the same as in the conventional system. In this embodiment, there is a document table 1 on which a document 15 is placed facing upward, a light emitting lamp 4 disposed above the document table 1, and reflected light 1 from the document 15.
1 to a lens 7 and a fixed reflecting mirror 5 are provided. The floodlight lamp 4 and the reflecting mirror 3 constitute a movable reflecting mirror 2, which is movable. The manuscript 2 includes things printed on a single sheet of paper and even books. The original table 3 directly constitutes the upper surface of the main body of the copying machine. Reference numeral 4 denotes a slide groove, and one slide groove 4 is provided at the front and one at the back, and serves as a support for the movable reflector 2 and a passage hole for a cable. The fixed reflection fi5 guides the light from the original 2 to the 66 and sends it into the optical path length constant mechanism 6. The hopper 7 is for storing paper 10. Further, the print output is output every time the movable reflecting mirror 1 scans.

It is reflected again and enters the optical path length constant mechanism 6. Here, the optical path length is kept constant. The reflected light that has passed through here forms an image on the photosensitive drum 8a of the electrophotographic system 8 by the lens 7, and is exposed to light. The paper 10 is to be outputted by the fixing device 9.

The copying machine is characterized by being equipped with a projector lamp placed above and a reflector that guides the reflected light from the original to the lens, so that when copying, the original surface can face upward, and as a result, the copy is not made. You can copy while looking at the original surface.

Furthermore, when copying an M manuscript such as a book, it is possible to minimize the effort required to position the manuscript face down at each page break. This has the advantage that it is only necessary to perform a page break every time scanning is completed.
