Currently, waste tires are cut into chips by a crusher and sent in fixed quantities to an incinerator via a chip supply device, where they are incinerated and heat is recovered. By the way, the chip supply device for supplying the waste tire chips (hereinafter simply referred to as chips) to the incinerator is comprised of a chip storage tank and a screw feeder having ribbon-shaped screw blades. Conventionally, this chip storage tank has a box-shaped structure with vertical walls on both sides, but the frictional resistance caused by the vertical pressing force applied to the side walls when the chips descend causes bridging. This caused a problem in that a cavity was formed around the screw feeder, making it impossible to supply chips.

That is, the present invention is a waste tire chip supply device comprising a storage tank for storing waste tire chips and a screw feeder having ribbon-shaped screw blades for feeding the waste tire chips in the storage tank to an incinerator. A screw feeder is provided along one end of the bottom wall of the storage tank, and the bottom wall is inclined so that the other end is located above the other end, and the screw feeder of the storage tank is provided with a screw feeder. One side wall on the Ida side is inclined at an angle greater than the angle of repose of the waste tire chip but less than 90 degrees, and the other side wall standing from the other end of the bottom wall is inclined parallel to the one side wall. According to this configuration, one side wall of the storage tank on the screw feeder side is inclined at an angle larger than the angle of repose of the waste tire chips, so that the one side wall of the storage tank is inclined at an angle larger than the angle of repose of the waste tire chips. Although a force due to the weight of the waste tire chip is generated,
Since the other side wall is tilted inward in the opposite direction to the one side wall, the force of the waste tire chip's own weight does not act on it, and therefore the bridging phenomenon as in the past does not occur as a whole, ensuring that the waste tire chip is properly removed. can be supplied to the incinerator. Furthermore, since the other end of the bottom wall of the storage tank is made higher than the one end, it is easier to move the waste tire chips to the screw feeder side, and together with the slope of the side wall mentioned above, the waste tire chips can be more reliably transferred to the incinerator. can be supplied to

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. Reference numeral 1 denotes an incinerator for incinerating waste tire chips (hereinafter simply referred to as chips) 2 cut into chips by a crusher, for example, and a side wall 3 of the incinerator 1 has a protruding input port 4 for inputting the chips 2. Furthermore, a heat exchanger tube 5 for heat recovery is disposed within the incinerator 1. 6 is a measuring device placed on the upper surface of the input port 4. 7 is a chip supply device for feeding the chips 2 into the incinerator 1 in fixed quantities, and includes a chip storage tank (hereinafter simply referred to as storage tank).
8 and a screw feeder 9 having ribbon-shaped screw blades 11. That is,
One end of the bottom wall 10 of the storage tank 7 is connected to one side of a U-shaped trough 12 in which a ribbon-shaped screw blade 11 is rotatably arranged, and the other side of the trough 12 is connected to one end of the bottom wall 10 of the storage tank 7. larger than the angle of repose of chip 2 (determined from the properties and shape of the chip) and
It is connected to one side wall 13 which is inclined outwardly at an angle (θ) of less than 90°, and also connected to the bottom wall 1.
The other side wall 14 erected from the other end of 0 is inclined inward so as to be parallel to the one side wall 13. Furthermore, the bottom wall 10 is slightly inclined so that the other end is higher than the one end so that the chips 2 in the storage tank 8 can easily move into the trough 12. And the above ribbon-shaped screw blade 1
1 is provided to protrude from the front wall 15 of the storage tank 8, and its front end extends to a position above the measuring instrument 6. Therefore, the protrusion 12a of the trough 12 has a cylindrical shape with an upper half covered. At the same time, a discharge port 12b is formed at the tip, and an upper half 12c at the base allows the chips 2 to flow from the storage tank 8 to the trough 12.
It is slanted and widened so that it can easily move toward the protrusion 12a. Further, the rear end of the ribbon-shaped screw blade 11 is connected to an output shaft 16a of a rotary drive device 16 installed outside the storage tank 8. Reference numerals 17 and 18 denote first and second fixed blade plates that are provided approximately at the center of the storage tank 8 and parallel to the ribbon-shaped screw blades 11. That is, the first and second fixed blade plates 17 and 18 are attached to the front and rear walls 15 and 19 of the storage tank 8 in parallel with each other and at positions slightly shifted in the vertical direction, and the attachment angle is determined by the inclination angle of the bottom wall 10. It is made to be vertical regardless of the direction. Reference numeral 20 denotes a feeding conveyor for feeding the chips 2, which is disposed in an opening 21 formed in the upper part of the rear wall 19 of the storage tank 8.

Therefore, in the above structure, the chips 2 carried by the truck 22 are fed into the storage tank 8 via the feeding conveyor 20 and stored therein. The stored chips 2 are conveyed within the trough 12 by the rotating ribbon-shaped screw blades 11 and transferred to the trough 1.
The heat is supplied to the measuring device 6 through the outlet 12b at the tip of the heat exchanger 2, and then introduced into the incinerator 1 through the input port 4 to be incinerated, and the heat is recovered by the heat transfer tube 5.

By the way, according to the storage tank 8, one side wall 13 provided along the ribbon-shaped screw blade 11
is inclined at an angle larger than the angle of repose (θ) of the chip 2, so this one side wall 13
Component force of the weight of chip 2 acting perpendicular to (pressing force)
becomes smaller, making the chip 2 more slippery, and since the other side wall 14 is tilted inward in the opposite direction to the one side wall 13, the force of the chip 2's own weight no longer acts on it, and therefore no bridging phenomenon occurs. Furthermore, when there are many chips 2 in the storage tank 8, the chips 2 are crushed by the weight of the chips 2 themselves, and the chips 2 do not descend due to the elastic repulsive force.
Since there are also second fixed vanes 17 and 18, the elastic repulsive force is interrupted midway, so that the repulsive force does not reach the entire storage tank 8, and the lowering of the chips 2 is promoted. Note that even if the estimated amount of chips 2 on the bottom wall 10 becomes small and the chips 2 do not slide down into the trough 12 of the screw feeder 9, the chips 2 are fed next time. It is broken by the falling force of the chip 2 and slides toward the trough 12.
