Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively execute desiliconizing, dephosphorizing and desulfurizing treatments without any damage of a trough in casting bed by blowing treating agent into molten iron from plural lances as shiftable toward longitudinal direction of the trough and having difference among positions at lower end parts thereof when the molten iron from a blast furnace flows in the trough on the casting bed. CONSTITUTION:When the molten iron 1 tapped from the blast furnace flows in the trough 13 on the casting bed, a frame 7 fitting plural lances 3, 4 having difference among the heights at the end parts thereof, is fitted as shiftable with wheels 9, 10 on rail 12 arranged on a trough cover 15 toward flowing direction of the molten iron 1. While blowing the treating agents 2 for desiliconization, dephosphorization and desulfurization into the molten iron 1 flowing down in the trough 13 together with carrier gas of air, oxygen, etc., from the bottom hole of the lance 3 and the side holes of the lance 4 having the bottom submerged in the molten iron 1, the frame 7 is shifted toward flowing direction in the trough 13. The desiliconizing, dephosphorizing and desulfurizing treatments are effectively executed to the molten iron without damage of the bottom part and the side wall in the trough 13 in casting bed.

Prior Art There is a well-known method for removing silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur, which are excessively contained in hot metal, on a blast furnace cast bed before charging into a converter.
For example, JP-A No. 54-137,420 discloses a technique in which a desiliconizing agent is added to hot metal flowing through a hot metal sluice while stirring it with an impeller, and JP-A-57-200510 discloses a technique in which a lance is connected to a molten metal sluice. A technique has been disclosed in which a desiliconizing agent is immersed in flowing hot metal and injected from the lance, and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 130208/1983 discloses a technique in which a refining agent is immersed in flowing hot metal and injected from the lance. Techniques for performing the processing are disclosed.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the technique disclosed in JP-A-54-137420 has a problem in that the impeller is subject to significant wear and tear because the impeller is rotated in hot metal.
The techniques disclosed in No. 200510 and JP-A-58-130208 have a problem in that the bottom of the gutter is partially worn out due to the injection of the refining agent, resulting in a short service life of the gutter.

There are ways to solve this problem, such as installing lances in multiple stages in the flow direction of the hot metal or swinging the lances in the longitudinal direction of the gutter, but the former requires high equipment costs, and the latter has a limited movement range at the lance tip. Since it becomes narrow and the angle between the lance and the hot metal surface is formed, the infiltration of the treatment agent into the hot metal changes greatly, making it impossible to consistently ensure the quality of the hot metal.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention has a blasting lance 3 that sprays a treatment agent 2 together with a carrier gas from the upper surface of the hot metal 1 along the flow of the hot metal 1.
On the downstream side, there is an injection lance 4 that blows the treatment agent 2 into the hot metal together with the carrier gas oxygen 18.
is attached to the yl, which is raised and lowered in the frame 7 by the winch 5, and to the lowering platform 6.

There are driving wheels 9 and driven wheels 10 that move in front and behind the lower part of the frame 7, and these driving wheels 9 and driven wheels 10 run on rails 12k fixed on the floor 11, which are longer than the length of the frame 7. Riding on a chono.

A movable gutter cover 14 that always covers the gutter 13 is fixed to the lower part of the frame 7, and moves together with the movement of the frame 7 to close the gap between the lower surface of the movable gutter cover 14 and the upper surface of the gutter cover 15 at any position. are set to be the same.

Operation When the treatment agent 2 is injected into the hot metal 1 to pre-treat the hot metal while the lances 3 and 4 according to the present invention are stationary, the bottom surface of the gutter 13 located below the lance 3 is exposed to the jet of treatment agent 2. However, in the present invention, the driving device 8 is driven to remove the frame 7.
Since hot metal preliminary treatment is carried out while moving the metal along the rail 12, local wear and tear on the gutter 13 is eliminated.

The injection lance 4 is a bottomed lance, and the treatment agent 2 injected from this lance is difficult to reach the bottom of the gutter directly, causing little local wear on the bottom of the gutter, but it depends on the injection direction of the treatment agent 2. However, since this accelerates the wear of the side walls of the gutter 13, local wear of the side walls can be prevented by carrying out the treatment while moving the frame 7 in the longitudinal direction of the gutter 13.

It is effective to install the lance according to the present invention with a predetermined gap 1, for example, In or more, in the longitudinal direction of the gutter. In this case, as shown in FIG. It is effective to pre-treat the hot metal by blowing into the hot metal from above and using the other side as the injection lance 4 to inject the treatment agent into the hot metal flow.
