Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit an upper cushion member, consisting of a slub member to be bonded to the main body of a cushion, having a recessed and projecting upper surface, so as to be contacted with it closely together with a skin, by a method wherein the upper cushion member and the skin are molded by a press so as to be along the upper surface configuration of the main body of the cushion while the upper cushion member is bonded integrally with the skin. CONSTITUTION:An upper cushion member 2 is a flat-type slub member and a skin 3 is bonded to the upper cushion member by an adhesive agent 9 upon being press molded by a bottom force 7 and a top force 8 together with the skin 3. The pressurizing surfaces of the top force 8 and the bottom force 7 are formed so as to have the configuration of the upper surface of the main body 1 of a cushion and a configuration corresponding to the upper surface of the main body 1, while the whole of both members 1, 2 is molded so as to have a given thickness so that the upper cushion member 2 is contacted closely with the upper surface of the main body 1 of the cushion, and the upper surface is developed so as to have recessed and projected configuration. Then, the top force 8 is released from the bottom force and the main body 1 of the cushion is bonded to the upper cushion member 2 by the adhesive agent 9 while pressing the main body 1 against the upper cushion member 2 by a pressing top force 81 instead of the top force 8. A part of the skin 3 is pinched between the main body 1 of the cushion and the upper cushion member 2 to be bonded with the adhesive agent, thereafter, recessed decorative groove 41 is formed.

That is, according to the present invention, along the convex upper surface of the cushion main body,
In order to allow the upper cushion material to adhere closely, it is pressed in advance into a predetermined shape that matches the top surface shape of the cushion body, and in order to maintain the predetermined shape, the upper cushion material is press-molded onto the upper cushion material. Sometimes the epidermis is glued together.
