のである。(Prior Art, Problems, and Objectives of the Present Invention) Conventionally, for example, boiler blowing fans were usually electric, which naturally required electricity costs and power receiving equipment. The purpose of this invention is to drive the engine using less than a few percent of the fuel gas that was being burned in the boiler, rotate the blower fan, and reduce electricity costs to zero. This aims to simplify equipment and perfect heat recovery.

and has an engine 5 built therein to drive it, and recovers the heat generated by the engine 5 by the combustion air flowing through the air supply duct 2, and supplies the heat to the boiler together with the exhaust gas generated by the engine 5. It is configured to be used for combustion.

Combustion air is introduced from the after smoke chamber 6 and after heat exchange, reaches the engine 5 section and is supplied to the burner 3 together with the exhaust gas coming out of the engine 5. Since the combustion air cools the engine 5 when passing through the engine 5 section, all of the heat generated by the engine 5 can be recovered. Since such an engine 5 only needs to use a few percent of the fuel gas burned in the burner 3, not only the electricity cost for the blower fan 3 etc. becomes zero, but also the air volume can be easily controlled by controlling the engine rotation speed. There are advantages to doing so. In addition, for example, when the fuel is gas, exhaust gas can be easily treated by running the engine at a slightly richer air-fuel ratio to suppress the generation of nitrogen oxides and burning CO and HO in the boiler. Since the engine is built inside the air supply duct, there are no noise problems. . Although the embodiments related to boilers have been described above, the present invention can be applied to absorption chillers and other combustion devices in exactly the same manner.
