For example, when a container such as a paper cup is coated with a plastic film such as polyethylene to provide water resistance, the paper cup is conventionally formed of a breathable material, i.e., paper alone, or of a bottom and side walls. Generally, the seal was made softer, leaving a gap for air to circulate, and the plastic film was vacuum-formed using a paper cup as a mold.

However, if you want to fill this container with soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, fruit juice, etc., seal it, and store it for a long period of time, the material for the paper cup must be made of polyethylene, aluminum, polyethylene, paper, polyethylene, etc. laminates should be used. Also, the bottom seal needs to be firmly adhered. And in this case too,
Although it is preferable to apply an integral coating such as polyethylene to the inner surface, bonding by vacuum forming
This is difficult because there is no air flow path.

Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is that the material is made of a laminated material such as polyethylene/aluminum/polyethylene/paper/polyethylene.
Further, it provides a method for coating the inner surface of a container blank with an integral plastic film to which the sealing portion is sufficiently firmly bonded and in which degassing through the material layer or through the loose sealing portion is impossible. It's about doing.

In the present invention, a body member and a bottom member having a liquid spout are integrally molded, and a pull tab piece larger than the liquid spout is attached to the outer surface of the bottom to cover the liquid spout, so that air can be left between the outer surface of the bottom and the bottom member. A container blank with a pull tab piece is used as a mold, in which a pull tab piece is partially adhered to the outer surface of the bottom, leaving a gap that allows the flow of water, and the gap is used as a suction or exhaust hole to vacuum the plastic film. A method for manufacturing a container with a pull tab, which comprises performing molding or air pressure forming to integrally cover the inner surface of a container blank with a plastic film, and molding the plastic film so as to fit slightly into the gap between the bottom and the pull tab piece. ” is the gist of this paper.

The gap between the pull tab piece and the bottom functions as a suction or exhaust hole, and by suction or exhaust through the gap, the plastic film is brought into close contact with the inner surfaces of the body and the bottom, and the gap between the bottom and the pull tab piece is closed. The container is shaped so that it slightly bites into the container, thereby sealing the gap and forming a container with high barrier properties.

In addition, the breaking strength of the plastic film part that is embedded in the gap between the bottom and the pull tab piece is weak, and the embedded plastic film part is in close contact with the pull tab piece. The spout can be obtained by tearing the plastic part inserted into the gap along the edge of the liquid spout.

As shown in the first figure, a container 1 with a pull tab obtained by the manufacturing method of the present invention has a liquid spout 3 at a bottom 2, and a pull tab piece 4 larger than the spout 3 is attached to the outside of the liquid spout 3 to partially connect to the bottom 2, for example. It has a structure in which it is attached by spot-shaped adhesive 5 and the entire inner surface is covered with plastic film 6. Here, adhesion includes both adhesion with an adhesive and thermal fusion of heat-sealable surfaces.
To take out the contents after filling the container with liquid and sealing it, the container 1 is turned upside down, the bottom 2 is facing up, and the pull tab piece 4 is pinched and pulled upward.

This situation is as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. The pull tab piece 4 is partially glued,
The plastic film is easily peeled off, and the plastic film is molded so that the plastic film coating 6 is in close contact with the inner surface of the body and the bottom, and is slightly wedged into the gap between the bottom 2 and the pull tab piece 4.

The breaking strength of the plastic film part embedded in the gap between the bottom and the pull tab piece is weak, and the embedded plastic film part is tightly attached to the pull tab piece, so that the inner surface of the pull tab piece of the plastic film 6 is covered. As the pull tab piece 4 is pulled up, the spout 3 can be obtained by cutting along the edge of the spout.

One preferred method for producing a paper cup with a pull tab having such a structure is to first integrally mold a body member and a bottom member having a liquid spout, as shown in FIG. A paper cup blank 1A having a spout 3 is formed, and a pull tab piece 4 with a larger size is placed on the outside of the spout 3, leaving a gap between it and the bottom 2 that allows air to circulate. Perform adhesive bonding 5. Next, using this paper cup blank 1A as a mold, vacuum or pressure forming is performed to cover it with a plastic film.

FIG. 5 is an explanatory view of the inside of the paper cup blank 1A shown in FIG. 4, which is covered with a plastic film by vacuum forming, viewed from the bottom side. The non-adhesive gap between the bottom portion 2 and the pull tab piece 4 is used as a suction hole, and air is discharged in the direction of the arrow to ensure smooth coating.

Yet another method for manufacturing the paper cup with a pull tab of the present invention is to first prepare a bottom member having a liquid spout, and place a pull tab piece larger than the spout on the outside surface of the container with a gap that allows air to flow. After partially adhering the paper cup blank, it is molded integrally with the body member, and then the paper cup blank is used as a mold and the gap is used as a suction or exhaust hole to vacuum form the plastic film. Alternatively, it may be formed by air pressure forming, and the inner surface may be covered with an integral plastic film.

If the content is food, the plastic film may be limited to acceptable polyethylene or polyester, or a laminate thereof; however, depending on the content, it may be made of other materials such as vinylidene chloride or ethylene monovinyl acetate copolymer. Combined films or laminated films made by laminating these films should be selected.

Although vacuum forming or pressure forming has been described as a technique for coating with a plastic film, it is of course possible to use both in combination, and it is also preferable to use an auxiliary plug.
