本発明は、食品等の包装に用いる包装用易開封性複合フィルム、より詳細には特にボイル、セミレトルト等の加熱殺菌を施した食品の包装体において熱封着性及び易開封性を備えた複合フィルムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、ボイル、レトルト等の加熱殺菌処理を施す食品等の包装体には、加熱殺菌処理時に耐えるような強固な熱封緘強度を施した包装体が広く使用されている。しかし、このような包装体を用いた場合、蓋材開封時に、大きな力を要する為、内容物が漏れたり、汁が吹き出したりするという取り扱い上の煩わしさがあった。そこで、これまで開封を容易にすべく、例えば、2種以上のポリオレフィンの混合物による積層フィルム、エチレン−αオレフィン共重合体やエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体を用いた積層フィルムを、易開封性の蓋材として使用し、開封時に容易に開封させる技術が知られている。しかし、前記の易開封性包装容器は、使用された蓋材フィルムの加熱後の開封性を容易にすると加熱殺菌中に破裂して内容物が漏れたり、加熱時の熱封緘強度を強くすると容易に開封出来ない等の問題があった。

本発明の課題は、食品等の内容物に用いられる包装用フィルムとして加熱殺菌処理に耐えるが、容易に開封することができる熱封緘強度を有する包装用複合フィルム並びに該フィルムを用いた包装容器を提供することにある。

本発明者等は上記課題を解決すべく、鋭意検討を重ねた結果、ポリプロピレン、又は、プロピレンとその他のαオレフィンとの共重合体を主体とする層と、ポリプロピレンと融点が120℃以上の高密度ポリエチレンもしくは直鎖上低密度ポリエチレンとの混合物を主体とする第2層との複合フィルムを用いて、包装袋とするか、或は、該複合フィルムを容器の蓋材フィルムとして使用することにより加熱殺菌時の破裂並びに易開封性を改善できることを見いだし本発明を完成するに至った。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の易開封性包装用複合フィルムは、樹脂成分(A)を含有する層から構成される第1層と、樹脂成分(B)を含有する層から構成される第2層とを必須の層構成とするものであり、樹脂成分(A)含有層と樹脂成分(B)含有層とを共押出法によって得られるものである。この際、第1層が他のフィルム若しくは容器底材開口鍔部との熱封着に供され、第2層は、第1層との層間剥離強度に寄与するものである。また、当該複合フィルムは、第1層及び第2層のみから構成される複合フィルムとして使用できることは勿論のことであるが、第2層上に更に基材フィルムが積層されていることが、易開封性包装袋或は易開封性包装容器にした場合の熱封着性、易剥離性の点から好ましい。
