Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely deliver a sheet of paper regardless of its property and give a defined interval between delivered sheets of paper by providing a conveying means which deforms an endless belt from a driving delivering posture into a driven delivering posture. CONSTITUTION:As the end of a delivered sheet of paper P is caught in between the rollers 20, 21 of a conveying means 22, the sheet of paper P is pulled from the moment it is caught since the driving speed of the conveying means 22 is higher than the crawling speed of an endless belt 7. Since the downside in the rear of the delivered sheet of paper P is brought into pressure contact with the endless belt 7, the endless belt 7 is pulled together due to the friction between these, thereby, forming a sagging 7B on the front side of a rotary body 5 while following the advance of the sheet of paper P. When the sagging 7B becomes maximum, the rear end of the sheet of paper P is drawn off of the gate part 13 and the sheet of paper P is sent to a lower course side by the conveying means 22 while, on the other hand, the endless belt 7 is restored to its original condition by the drive of the driving pulley 11 of a posture holding means 8.

(Prior art) Conventionally, in order to count, identify, throw out, and perform various other processing of paper sheets such as banknotes, paper sheets have been collected one by one from a group of accumulated paper sheets in which a large number of paper sheets are stored in an array. There is a sheet feeding device that takes out and conveys sheets, but these devices generally have a friction roller in frictional contact with the surface of the foremost sheet, and the rotation of this friction roller feeds out 91 sheets at a time. There is.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of the paper dispensed by the friction roller as described above, the contact portion with the paper surface is a line contact, and therefore, in the case of banknotes, new banknotes have a certain surface texture. Therefore, there is no major problem, but if the surface texture of circulating banknotes varies, such as wrinkles or creases, they may easily slip.
Feeding becomes unstable, and especially when it is necessary to pay out at regular intervals, the intervals become uneven, which causes problems in post-processing.

For this reason, conventionally, in order to provide a feeding device that needs to perform reliable feeding, a suction head is used to attract and separate paper sheets one by one, and after separation, the paper sheets are fed out by a feeding means.

However, in the case of using the above-mentioned suction head, it is necessary to make the suction head perform an oscillating motion in order to separate the paper sheets after they have been suctioned to the suction surface of the suction head.
Therefore, not only does the structure become extremely complicated, but there are also many incidental devices such as a vacuum pump, a piping system related to the vacuum pump, and a switching valve, resulting in an increase in cost. Furthermore, the suction head described above has the disadvantage that there is a limit to the speed at which paper sheets can be fed out, since the swinging movement of the suction head and the switching operation of the switching valve to create a vacuum state are inevitably involved.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an apparatus for feeding out paper sheets one by one from a group of accumulated paper sheets, in which a part of the paper sheets is made freely deformable so that the outer surface of the sheet can be freely deformed. An endless belt that feeds out paper sheets by being brought into contact with the frontmost sheet surface of a group of accumulated paper sheets and forcedly moved by a belt motion applying means, and a predetermined portion of this endless belt is held between the An endless belt posture holding means that holds the belt in a driving and feeding posture, an outer surface of the endless belt, and a gate forming member, and allows only one sheet of paper fed out by the endless belt to pass through, and a sheet of paper that follows this. A gate section that regulates the feeding of leaves and a belt driven at a speed faster than the belting speed of the endless belt, which pinches and conveys paper sheets passing through the gate section, and carries the endless belt through the paper sheets. The apparatus is equipped with a conveying means for changing the position from the driven feeding position to the driven feeding position.

When the leading edge of the fed paper sheet P is caught between the rollers 20 and 21 of the conveying means 22 as shown in FIG. 5(B),
Since the driving speed of this conveying means 22 is faster than the belting speed of the endless belt 7, the paper sheet P is pulled from the moment it is gripped, and the rear lower surface of the fed paper sheet P touches the endless belt 7. Since they are pressed together, the endless belt 7 is pulled together due to the friction between them, and therefore, as shown in FIG. 5(C).
Since the slack 7B is not formed on the front side of the rotating body 5, the rotation body 5 follows the advance of the paper sheet P. At this time, the rotating body 5 is also rotating at the same speed as the endless belt 7.

In the illustrated embodiment, the paper sheets P are stacked and stored, and the paper sheets P are fed out sequentially starting from the lowest one. For example, the paper sheet P at the forefront is fed out downward or upward.
The feeding direction is not restricted, and can be selected as appropriate depending on the application, and can be applied to other paper volumes and similar items.
Although the case has been shown in which the posture maintaining means 8 also serves as the belt motion imparting means for the endless belt 7, the posture maintaining means 8 merely displaces the freely deformable slack portion 7A of the endless belt 7 toward the sheet P side. It is also possible to provide a suppressing function and apply a belt motion to the endless belt 7 by pressing a drive roller against the position of the rotating body 5 or a portion corresponding to the intermediate rotating body 9. Further, the suppressing member 25 is not limited to a plate shape and may be a suppressing roller, and the suppressing function of the suppressing member is not limited to the example of always pressing, but when there is a large amount of stacked paper sheets, it does not press, and It is also possible to apply pressure as the amount of the pressure decreases. Further, the configurations of the gate portion 13, the conveying means 22, etc. are not limited to the illustrated embodiment, and design changes may be made arbitrarily without departing from the technical idea of the present invention.
