Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to ensure connecting function with the use of the other contacts parts even if one of the divided contact parts lose the connecting functions due to poor contact by providing contact parts which is divided in plural pieces and connected to each other in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The relay is composed of (n) pieces of contact parts 1-1 through 1-n connected parallel, fuses 2-1 through 2-n inserted in series to the circuits of respective contact parts 1-1 through 1-n and coils 3. The divided contact parts 1-1 through 1-n are opened and closed by an electromagnetic force which is generated by a driving signal supplied from a signal source 4 for a coil driving into the coil 3 while a current passing through a contact circuit by the signal source 5 is separated into the contact parts 1-1 through 1-n so as to be interrupted. The fuses 2-1 through 2-n inserted in the circuits of respective contact parts 1-1 through 1-n is made to be cut by excess current between contacts when the contacts are welded. Therefore, it is possible to ensure the connecting function even if one of the contact parts is in poor contact or welded and recover the contact circuit which is short-circuited.

In conventional relays, the number of contacts driven by the coil is one per circuit, and if failure, poor contact, or welding of the contacts occurs, this can be a fatal problem.

Furthermore, since the circuit current is interrupted by one contact, there is a drawback that damage increases in proportion to the load and the life span is shortened. Furthermore, since the contact point is increased in size in proportion to the circuit current, there is a drawback that the operating speed becomes slow.

The divided contact parts 1-1 to 1-n are opened and closed by the electromagnetic force generated when the drive signal from the coil drive signal source 4 flows through the coil 3, and the current flowing through the contact circuit by the signal source 5 is applied to the contacts. Parts 1-1 to 1-nrc are shunted and interrupted.

As explained above, the present invention provides contact parts that are divided into a plurality of parts and connected in parallel, so that even if one of the divided contact parts stops functioning due to poor contact, the remaining contact parts can be used. This has the effect of increasing the reliability of the circuit itself. In addition, if one of the contacts is welded, an overcurrent is applied to the fuse provided at the contact to blow it out and cut the circuit that includes the welded contact, thereby recovering the shorted contact circuit. be. Furthermore, by using divided contact sections, the current load on each contact section is reduced and the weight is reduced, so that the life of the contact can be extended and the operating speed can be increased.
