After spawning in the sea, turban shells and abalones hatch and live floating in the sea for a while, but soon after that they sink to the sea floor and settle on rocky reefs where they begin their lives. The food necessary for life during this period is minute diatoms attached to rocky reefs. After the infants that fed on these attached diatoms lived in the diatom settlement area, the infants moved away from that area and changed from feeding on diatoms to regular seaweed, and they moved from the middle layer between the sea floor and the water surface. They move to rocky areas and seaweed beds in shallow waters and enter a full-scale growth period. This is because seaweed is the staple food needed for turban shells and abalone to grow, and at the same time, during the growth stage, they seek a place on the backside of a rocky reef where they can protect themselves so that they do not become food for other predators. be.

However, in recent years, it has become difficult to secure natural stone due to regulations for preserving the natural environment and various laws and regulations regarding quarrying, so concrete blocks have generally been used instead.

The depressions are where sea urchins and shellfish go through their growth process from infants.
They serve as a suitable place to protect themselves from predators, and play a major role in preventing sea urchins and shellfish from disappearing.

The key point of the present invention is to provide a block for growing turban shells and abalone, which has concave depressions in the shape of a semi-elliptic sphere, a semi-spheroid, or a parabola of revolution suitable for growing turban shells and abalone on multiple sides of a polyhedral concrete block. .

A concave recess 12 in the shape of a semi-elliptic sphere, a semi-spheroid, or a parabola of revolution is provided on the upper surface, the lower surface, and the inclined surface of 1, respectively. Turban shells and abalone live in this semi-elliptical, semi-spheroidal, or parabolic-shaped concave depression. Appropriate dimensions of the concave recess 12 in the shape of a semi-elliptic sphere, semi-spheroid, or parabola of revolution are approximately 8.5 cm in the major axis of the ellipse, 5.0 cm in the minor axis, and 5.0 cm in depth.

海底に沈設し追跡調査した結果確認された。 Next, the habitat conditions of turban shells and abalone will be explained based on FIGS. 5 and 6. Unlike sea urchins, turban shells that have just changed from young to adult shells are in Block 11.
Its inhabitation is limited to the concave depression 12 in the shape of a semi-elliptic sphere, a semi-spheroid, or a parabola of revolution. Since the shell shape of a turban shell is not nearly hemispherical like that of a sea urchin, but rather an ellipse, the depressions were made into semi-elliptic spheres, semi-spheroids, or paraboloids of revolution. If such a concave depression is shaped like a semi-elliptic sphere, a semi-spheroid, or a parabola of revolution, turban shells that do not live in the shellfish block can live there, as shown in Figure 1.
It was confirmed as a result of a follow-up investigation after being deposited on the ocean floor.

On the other hand, in the case of a polyhedral growing block as shown in FIG. 7, the turban shells do not turn completely upside down and therefore do not fall.

As shown in the figure, its habitat is limited to a concave depression in the shape of a semi-ellipse, semi-spheroid, or parabola of revolution on the lower surface of the fish reef block 11. Also abalone 17
Since the shape of the shell is elliptical, concave depressions in the shape of a semi-elliptic sphere, a semi-spheroid, or a parabola of revolution are suitable for its habitation.

できる。 According to the above embodiment, it is possible to simultaneously grow turban shells and abalone using one growing block. In addition, since it has a polyhedron and is in the form of a straight column, it has a large contact area with the seabed and is more stable than the block shown in Figure 1, so it is stable even in the breaking wave zone, and is a safe habitat necessary for the intermediate growth of turban shells and abalone. environment can be preserved.

As explained above, the block for growing turban shells and abalone according to the present invention has a flat shape with octagonal vertical and cross sections and is formed of 26 flat surfaces, so the water depth is shallow and the block is exposed to sunlight. Even in sea areas with rough waves and fast currents where it is easy to reach
It can be stably submerged, maintains a safe habitat for turban shells and abalone, and can be easily manufactured using a formwork with a simple structure, and is formed with a flat surface, making it easy for turban shells to walk on and provide a habitat for turban shells. It has an extremely excellent effect of being suitable for use.
