管の外径と同じか少しだけ大きな内径を有する閉
鎖環状のシール材によつて、第一、第二の両管の
間の気密、液密を保持する、フランジを用いた管
接続部に於いて、上記第二の管の端部を第二のフ
ランジよりも少しだけ管の軸方向に突出させ、こ
の突出端部に上記シール材を外嵌し、第一の管の
端部に、一部をこの第一の管の端縁よりも突出さ
せた状態で固定し、この突出部分の内周縁開口部
に、摺鉢状で上記シール材と整合する傾斜面を形
成し、シール材を構成する薄板の重ね合わせ部の
外側に来る部分の末端が、この傾斜面または第二
のフランジの側面と接する点より閉鎖環外方に向
くようにシール材を設け、この傾斜面の、各管の
中心軸に直交した平面に対する角度を46〜56
度としてこの傾斜面にシール材の重ね合わせ部を
当接させるか、または前記角度を47〜55度と
して前記第二のフランジの側面にシール材の重ね
合わせ部を当接させる事を特徴とするフランジを
