多くの骨疾患の生理的機能異常は、骨再吸収量の実質的
増加による骨再吸収及び骨形成のバランス逸脱と関係が
ある。リソソーム酵素は、骨再吸収が副甲状腺ホルモン
によって促進される場合において数種の酸加水分解酵素
の放出が高められることから、骨再吸収機能を発揮する

効量の下記式1の化合物:が前記骨疾患に冒された動物

本発明で使用される化合物は、エポキシスクシニル−ロ
イシルアミド(4−グアニジノ)ブタン、特にL−トラ
ンス異性体(E−64として知られる)である。

医薬組成物とする場合、式Iの化合物の活性成分は無毒
性医薬担体と混合され、単位用量に分割されるが、各用

実施例 1
カルシウム血
ヒトの悪性体液性高カルシウム血症症候群を非常によく
擬態しているラットモデルは、インソグナら、エンドク
リノロジー、第114巻、第888−896頁、198
4年[Insogna at al、 Endoeri
nology]に記載されていが、このモデルにおいて
は、ライス500ライデイツヒ腫瘍細胞(Rice50
0Leydig cell tumor)が雄性フィッ
シャー系(F 1sher)ラットに移植されている。
擬態しているラットモデルは、インソグナら、エンドク

- 【特許請求の範囲】 1、動物における骨疾患の治療方法であ って、 前記骨疾患に冒された動物に有効量の下記 式の化合物: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼( I ) を投与することからなる方法。 2、骨疾患が悪性高カルシウム血症、ペ ージェット病又は骨粗鬆症である、特許請求の範囲第1
項記載の方法。 3、化合物が1〜500mg/kg体重の用量で投与さ
れる、特許請求の範囲第2項記載の方法。 4、化合物が10〜50mg/kg体重の用量で投与さ
れる、特許請求の範囲第3項記載の方法。 5、化合物が経口投与される、特許請求 の範囲第4項記載の方法。
