This invention relates to a high-humidity refrigerator that can maintain high humidity inside the refrigerator. Currently, it is common knowledge that food is stored in electric refrigerators (freezers), and the internal temperature can be set relatively freely. However, as shown in Table 1, it has long been known that humidity control is important in addition to storage temperature when storing fresh foods. It is around 60%, and nothing has been developed to maintain high humidity.
It has been impossible to preserve fresh food for long periods of time. Therefore, when preserving fresh foods for a long period of time, they are subjected to artificial treatments such as packing.

[Table] This idea was devised in view of the above circumstances, and is a high-humidity system that maintains high humidity and allows fresh foods such as raw vegetables, fruits, and flowers to be stored for long periods of time without artificial processing. The purpose is to provide a humidity refrigerator. This invention will be described below based on embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings. As shown in the figure, the refrigerator 1 has a machine compartment 2 at the bottom.
A cooling chamber 3 is provided at the top. From the rear to the bottom of the cooling chamber 3, a passage 4 is provided which communicates with the cooling chamber 3 at the upper rear and front bottom of the cooling chamber 3, and the passage 4 includes a first passage 4a along the rear and a second passage 4b along the bottom.
It consists of. The back plate 5 of the refrigerator 1 is provided with a cooling pipe 6 that cools at least the first passage 4a, and the cooling pipe 6 serving as a cooler is connected to the machine room 2.
The compressor 7, condenser 8, etc. constitute a refrigeration cycle. In addition, in the condenser 8 or its vicinity,
A condensing fan 9 is provided to cool the condenser 8. An internal fan 10 is provided above the first passage 4a to circulate air from the cooling chamber 3 to the passage 4 from top to bottom within the passage 4.
Below the cooling pipe 6 in a, there is a porous body 1 through which air can flow, blocking the entire flow cross-sectional area of the passage 4a.
1 is provided. Although this porous body 11 is shown as a second member 11b of a honeycomb structure in which first members 11a in the shape of a drainboard or a grid are provided at both ends, the first member 11a is provided only at one end of the second member 11b. In some cases, water droplets, etc. fed to the porous body 11 are temporarily held, and the held water and the internal fan 10 are used.
Any material may be used as long as it increases the chance of contact with the air circulated by the air and promotes evaporation. A drain pipe 12 is provided at the bottom of the first passage 4a for discharging water that has reached the bottom of the first passage 4a to a drainage tank 13 provided in the machine room 2 or the like. This invention has the above-described configuration, and when the compressor 7 is operated to carry out a cooling operation for cooling, frost forms on the cooling pipe 6 which acts as an evaporator. When a defrosting operation is performed to defrost the cooling pipe 6, the frost becomes water droplets and falls onto the porous body 11.
The fallen water droplets are retained in the porous body 11. When the defrosting operation is completed and the cooling operation is performed and the internal fan 10 is operated, the air circulating in the cooling chamber 3 and the passage 4 passes through the porous body 11 and absorbs enough water to promote evaporation. Therefore, as the temperature decreases, the humidity inside the cooling chamber 3 becomes sufficiently higher than the humidity of 60% in a conventional refrigerator. During this cooling action, the direction of air circulation is up and down, which is the same as the direction in which water droplets fall due to defrosting, so in order for water droplets to enter the cooling chamber 3, they must pass through the porous body 11, Therefore, water droplets are reliably captured by the porous body 11 and do not enter the cooling chamber 3. In addition, since moisture from the outside forms frost on the cooling pipe 6 when the door 14 of the refrigerator 1 is opened, a sufficiently high level of humidity can be maintained without special replenishment of moisture. Furthermore, in the case of defrosting operation, it is necessary to stop the internal fan 10 to prevent the heat of the cooling pipe 6 from entering the cooling chamber 3 even if the cooling pipe 6 becomes high in temperature. Further, water droplets that are not retained in the porous body 11 and fall from the porous body 11 are discharged to the outside through the drain pipe 12. As described above, this idea provides a vertical passageway facing the cooler at the rear of the cooling chamber, and forms openings to the cooling chamber at the upper and lower ends of this passageway, and uses a fan to draw air between the cooling chamber and the passageway. Forced circulation is carried out from top to bottom in the passage, and a porous body is provided below the cooler in the passage through which air can flow. Water droplets generated during defrosting are retained in the porous body, and the circulating air is Since the retained water is evaporated and humidified, it can be used in a conventional refrigerator without the need for a separate humidifying device.
By simple structural changes such as providing a porous body, fresh foods such as vegetables can be preserved without artificial processing such as packing. In addition, air flows from top to bottom in the passageway, and even if this air tries to carry condensed water droplets to the cooler, the water droplets are captured by the porous body, so the water droplets do not enter the cooling chamber. It is hygienic as it does not adhere to vegetables, fresh foods, etc. when transported.
