Reference numeral 6 denotes a cooler storage chamber formed within the heat insulating partition wall 1a and housing the cooler 7, and the cold air cooled here by the drive of the blower fan 8 is transferred to a cold air duct 9 and a cold air circulation duct 10.
Air is forcedly blown to the refrigerator compartment 2 and high humidity storage compartment 3 side through the.

12 is a moisture absorbing layer made of a material with good moisture absorption provided on the inner surface of the inner box 13, and a fibrous sheet such as polyester, nylon, acrylic, nonwoven fabric, or foam sheet is stored therein, and the mounting position is also cool air. It is provided below the Y point of the inner box 13, which does not touch the circulation duct 10, from the back surface to the bottom surface.

If it is also installed on the back of the inner box 13 in contact with the cold air circulation duct 10 above the point Y, when the cooling capacity is increased near the point H of the hygroscopic layer 12 that has absorbed water, freezing will occur and the heat exchange plate 11 will be defrosted. Water collects near point H and freezes and accumulates.

Then, as time passes, the moisture in the moisture absorption layer 12 below point Y evaporates and moves to the heat exchange plate 11, and finally becomes a dry moisture absorption layer, with all moisture largely freezing and condensing near point H. frost

Since there is a drawback that the atmosphere in the high temperature storage chamber 3 is no longer high temperature, in order to improve this problem, the moisture absorption layer 12 is set only on the back surface below the Y point.

Therefore, when the refrigeration cycle is operated with items stored in the high-temperature storage chamber 3, the temperature inside the high-temperature storage chamber 3 is indirectly cooled by the action of the heat exchange plate 11, and the temperature eventually decreases. The water vapor becomes saturated and partially condenses into water droplets that are temporarily stored inside the moisture absorption layer 12.

Therefore, when freezing occurs on the back surface above point Y and on the heat exchange plate 11, the humidity inside the high humidity storage chamber 3 decreases. Maintained at high humidity.

In the present invention, the moisture absorption layer 12 is formed by molding a fibrous sheet, a nonwoven fabric, or a foamed sheet, and this is formed into the inner box 13.
Y is pasted on the inner surface of the inner box 13, but the inner surface of the inner box 13 is coated with a hygroscopic and water-insoluble paint made of a resin such as polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate, nylon, cellulose nitrate, or cellophane. Of course, it is also possible to coat the inner surface of the inner box or to laminate a film or thin plate made of the resin on the inner surface of the inner box.

Since the refrigerator of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, even if water that has evaporated from stored items condenses, this condensed water is temporarily absorbed into the moisture absorption layer installed at a position below the inner box that does not affect the cooling capacity. When the humidity inside the storage room decreases, the moisture in the moisture absorption layer is evaporated to keep the inside of the storage room at high humidity without concentrating on freezing on the heat exchange plate and the upper back surface. The amount of water evaporation from stored items can be suppressed to a minimum, the freshness of fresh foods can be maintained for a long time when they are stored, and the structure can be manufactured extremely simply and at low cost.
