(Technical Field) This invention relates to a method for dyeing veneers used in the production of laminated decorative veneers. [Background Art] Conventionally, decorative laminated veneers have been pasted on the surface of ceiling materials, wall materials, etc. Plywood is used. The production of the laminated decorative veneer is as shown in FIG. A plurality of the sheets are laminated in a pair of uneven molds 22 and 23 and bonded by pressure to form an assembled flitch 24, and this is sliced with a slicing blade 25 from a direction intersecting the laminated surface to obtain a decorative veneer 26. The surface of this decorative veneer 26 is created with a wood grain pattern that resembles that of natural wood species (cypress, etc.), giving it a natural feel. This is a thin veneer with a thickness of 1 mm or less. This veneer is bleached, then dyed in the color of the desired wood species, dried, and then assembled and sliced in the process described above. To dye veneers, so-called steaming dyeing, in which a dye solution is applied to the veneers and then steamed, is generally performed. At this time, as shown in Fig. 3, a large number of veneers 10 are stacked. In order to improve the passage of water vapor into the interior, corrugated spacers 11 are interposed between a predetermined number of sheets (for example, 30 sheets).
They put it in a steam pot and steamed it. However, among the stacked veneers 10, two to three veneers that are in contact with the spacer 11 always have a problem in that color unevenness occurs due to temperature unevenness or steam condensation. [Object of the Invention] An object of the present invention is to provide a method for dyeing a veneer that does not cause color unevenness as described above.

The veneer dyeing method of the present invention is characterized in that, in the veneer dyeing method in which a predetermined number of veneers are stacked via spacers and dyed, a dummy veneer is arranged in the outer layer portion in contact with the spacer. It is something. In other words, in consideration of the fact that color unevenness occurs due to temperature unevenness and steam condensation in the outer layer of the veneer that is in contact with the spacer, this invention provides a dummy veneer for the outer layer of the stacked veneers that is in contact with the spacer. By arranging them, it is possible to avoid color unevenness on the veneer. FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing the dyeing method according to the present invention. As shown in the figure, when a predetermined number of veneers 1 are stacked through spacers 2 and dyed, the outer layer in contact with the spacers 2 A dummy veneer 3 is placed at A. It is appropriate that the number of dummy veneers 3 to be loaded is approximately 3 to 5 dummy veneers 3 having approximately the same thickness as the veneer 1. If the number of dummy veneers 3 to be loaded is less than this, temperature unevenness and dew condensation due to the spacer 11 should be avoided. The effect also extends to the veneer 1 through the dummy veneer 3, and if the number of veneers loaded is greater than this, the efficiency of the dyeing process will deteriorate. It is preferable to use the same quality as the veneer 1 for the dummy veneer 3. If a different material such as a metal plate or a plastic plate is used as the dummy veneer 3, the passage of water vapor will be changed (this will cause the target veneer to In addition, the dummy veneer 3 may be coated with a staining solution in advance in the same way as the veneer 1, or it may be uncoated and used as is. Next, the veneer dyeing method of the present invention will be explained with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples.Example: Every 30 veneers were coated with a dyeing solution having the following composition at a coating amount of 00g/rd. In the process of loading and dyeing with a spacer interposed between the veneers 1 and 2, as shown in Fig. 1, wooden dummy veneers 3 of the same quality as the veneer 1 are placed on 3 to 5 pieces of the outer layer A in contact with the spacer 2. The veneers were placed in a steam pot in this condition. Then, steaming was performed for 2 hours at a steaming temperature of 95 to 100°C. As a result, no color unevenness was observed in any of the veneers. Comparative Example: When steam dyeing was carried out in the same manner as in the example except that dummy veneer 3 was not used, color unevenness was observed in 3 to 5 of the veneers in contact with the spacer. Effect] According to the present invention, by arranging a dummy veneer in the outer layer portion of the stacked veneers in contact with the spacer, it is possible to avoid color unevenness in the veneers.
