Abstract

PURPOSE:To make smooth feeding of articles and have effective utilization of space by installing an article accommodating rack at a vertically circulating moving member, wherein the rack has support surfaces on both sides up and down, making one of the support surfaces possible to tilt, and allowing the tilting support surface to become identical to the stationary support surface of the adjoining accommodating rack at the straight motion part. CONSTITUTION:An article accommodating rack 5 is moved by a chain 1, and a carry-in position is provided at B where the rack 5 transfers from the downward tilting condition to the horizontal condition. At B, the lower support surface 7 of the rack 5 is inclined downward by its own weight. Accordingly the upper and lower support surfaces 6, 7 separate from each other to admit smooth feeding-in of article A. When movement of the chain 1 moves the rack 5 upward to cause the upper support surface 6 of the lower rack 5 to be in horizontal condition, the article A on the upper rack 5 is heaved to be borne by the upper support surface 6. At C as upper revolving position, the support surfaces 6, 7 pinch the article A. This constitution makes feed-in smooth and allows effective utilization of space.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, in the conventional device, since the article storage shelf is constituted by a single flat plate, it is difficult to carry articles into the storage shelf, and in addition, the storage efficiency is low. There is a problem that it is bad. In other words, in this conventional device, articles are carried onto the shelves by sliding the articles onto the shelves when the shelves are in a horizontal position. Therefore, the items being sent tend to collide with the upper shelves, so the work must be done carefully. Furthermore, in order to make it easier to feed the items, the space between the shelves is set 20 to 30% higher than the height of the items, so that there is a certain amount of space between the two shelves and the items. In this case, this interval becomes a completely wasted space in terms of storage, and the storage efficiency in terms of space decreases.

Furthermore, in conventional devices, when the shelf boards rotate at the sprocket position at the top end, the gap between adjacent shelf boards opens at a wide angle. The shape of the chain becomes collapsed, which has the disadvantage that only one side of the chain travel path can be used for storage.

Function> In the elevating storage device of the present invention, when the circulating movement member is moved, the article storage shelf is moved accordingly. The articles are carried in near the boundary between the lower end turning section and the straight ascending section of the moving stroke. In this position, the spacing between the upper support surfaces is wide. Therefore, goods can be carried in smoothly. In the linearly rising section, articles are placed and supported by the upper support surfaces of the lower storage shelves. Also, in this state, the support surfaces of each storage shelf are parallel to each other, so if the distance between the upper and lower support surfaces matches the height of the item,
Since there is no wasted space on the storage shelf, efficient storage can be achieved. In the upper end turning section, the article is supported by the supporting surfaces on both sides, but since the distance between the two supporting surfaces does not widen beyond a certain value, the article will not be crushed sideways and lose its shape. In the linear descent section on the back side of the travel path, the article is placed and supported in an upside-down state. The articles are carried out by sliding them down from the inclined position of the storage shelf of the lower end revolving section.

<Example> An example of the elevating storage device of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The chain 1 is hooked up to sprockets 2.3 provided at both upper and lower positions, and as the sprockets 2.3 are rotated, the chain 1 moves in circulation. The links 4 of the chain I are long and one article storage shelf 5 is attached to each link 4. The storage shelf 5 is so-called fork-shaped, which is made up of a plurality of rod-like members arranged in parallel, and the fork-shaped article support surfaces 6.7 are spaced so that the distance between them is the same as or greater than the height of the articles A. are provided in both the upper and lower positions. The upper support surface 6 is fixed to the link 4, while the lower support surface 7 is tiltably attached by means of a pin 8. In the illustrated embodiment, the lower support surface 7 is attached to the upper support surface 6 by a pin 8, but it may be attached directly to the link 4 using a pin or the like so as to be tiltable. The range of this tilting is from a substantially horizontal state to a tilted state of approximately 15°, and the support surface 7 can freely tilt within this range. However, this tilting range can be determined freely. Further, the positions of both ends of the tilting range are determined by the collision between the proximal edges 9 and 10 of the support surface 7 with the link 4.

Further, the mounting interval between adjacent storage shelves 5 is determined such that the vertical support surface of the lower storage shelf and the lower support surface of the upper storage shelf match in position during the linear transfer process. However, since the fork positions of the lower support surface 7 and the upper support surface 6 are at a distance from each other, there is no possibility that the two will collide.

Next, the operation of the storage device will be explained. By rotating the sprocket 2.3, the chain 3 moves in circulation, and the article storage shelf 5 moves accordingly. Note that this circular movement is usually an intermittent movement that has a stop period because it is necessary to carry in and take out the articles during the movement. The article A is carried into the storage shelf 5 at a position B near the boundary where the storage shelf 5 shifts from a downwardly inclined state to a horizontal state. When the storage shelf 5 reaches the carry-in position B, the upper fixed support surface 6 is in a substantially horizontal state, the lower tiltable support surface 7 is in a downwardly inclined state due to its own weight, and both the upper and lower support surfaces 6 .7 distance is widened, making it convenient for carrying in goods. In addition, since the storage shelf 5 adjacent to the lower stage is in a downwardly inclined state, it does not interfere with the formation of the opening of the upper storage shelf. The article A is transferred to the conveyor 12 by the feeding device 11 at the loading position B.
It is pushed into the storage shelf 5 from above. Note that during this carrying-in, it is better to stop the circulation movement and keep the storage shelf 5 stationary. The fed article A is placed and supported on the lower support surface 7 that is slightly downwardly inclined. Next, the chain 1 moves and its storage shelf 5 is sent one step up. At this time, the storage shelf 5 adjacent to the lower tier also moves and its upper support surface 6 shifts to a horizontal state, so the article A on the upper storage shelf 5 is pushed up by the upper support surface 6 of this lower tier, and this support surface 6 will be supported. Note that the position of the fork is #11 between the lower supporting surface of the upper tier and the side supporting surface of the lower tier, so when article A is supported on the upper supporting surface of the lower tier, The lower support surface becomes idle. In addition, if the mounting interval of the upper support surfaces 6 of adjacent storage shelves is made to match the height of the article A, there will be almost no gap on the upper surface of the stored articles during the linear transfer process, and there will be no space. There is no waste and items can be stored efficiently. In this way, the articles A are carried into the storage shelf 5 one after another and are sequentially sent upward in a circular manner. Further, at the turning position C at the upper end of the movement stroke, the article A is supported so as to be sandwiched between the support surfaces 6 and 7 on both sides of the storage shelf 5.

ただし、両側の支持面は一定以上には広がらないので、

However, since the support surfaces on both sides cannot expand beyond a certain level,
The article A does not collapse sideways, and even bagged articles can be stored without collapsing. After passing through the upper end turning section, the article is turned over and the support surface 6
, 7 will be reversed and supported. The article is unloaded when it reaches the turning section at the lower end of the travel path. At this carry-out position, the storage shelf 5 is in an inclined state, so that the articles can be carried out by sliding them off the support surface -1.

<Effects of the Invention> In the storage device of the present invention, since both the upper and lower supports are opened at the article loading position, articles can be smoothly delivered to the storage shelf. Furthermore, since the distance between the upper and lower support surfaces is narrowed in the linearly ascending/lowering position, the articles can be stored with no or as little wasted space on the upper surface. Furthermore,
At the upper end turning portion of the movement stroke, both support surfaces do not widen beyond a certain level, so the article does not collapse sideways and can pass through the turning portion while maintaining its shape. Additionally, as a result, the descending side of the chain movement can also be used for storage, freeing up storage space.
