すれば当然トラクター前部から作業機迄の間が作
業されずに残るからである。一方畦切り及び田畑
の周りに水平な溝を掘ることは、雨水の水はけ及
び田畑を乾燥さす上で、又は畦防水用シートを土
中に埋設したり、土中よりの引出しを容易ならし
める為にも重要なことであるが、前記理由により
畦切り、溝掘り作業は概して鍬等により熟練した
年寄りの手によつてなされているのが現状であ
り、能率が悪いばかりでなく、水平な溝底と畦を
作成しにくい欠点があつた。

業が一度の進行で機械的に無理なく能率よく行え
る。又田畑の端が道路肩や側溝のコンクリート壁
面に接している箇所でも、デイスク刃と螺旋刃及
びデイスク刃の移動軌跡に一致してその縦切断壁
面に案内進行される作溝器の土片寄せ工程により
溝底面が水平な溝を田畑の周りに極めて簡単、容
易に作成出来、又トラクター作業機では曲がつた
畦に沿うての作業の困難さや、田畑の隅が作業さ
れずに残る欠点があるが、本考案では走行の駆動
軸線上にデイスク刃と、これに連なつて螺旋刃が
設けられているから、駆動軸直下から作溝器後端
の接地点までの距離が短かいので、小廻りが出
来、曲がつた畦際処理にもよく順応し得られ、従
来困難であつた畦切り溝掘り作業が田畑の隅まで
機械的に円滑、軽快に出来ると共に溝底が水平で
あるから必要に応じての畦防水シートの埋設もし
易い等の効果がある。
