本発明はコート紙、特に盛り上げコート紙よりなる化粧
シートの製造方法の改良に関するものである。
に従来の技術】
従来、化粧シートとしているいろな構造のものが提案さ
れてきているが、それぞれ欠点を有している。例えば、
薄葉紙よりなる原紙に模様を印刷し、更にオーバープリ
ントを施した通常のコート紙は、表面よりの水分の浸透
を防止することは不可能であり、更に可燃性である欠点
もある。また、PVCシートとして使用されているもの
は、表面からの水分の浸透は防ぐことができるが、価格
が高く、高価な接着剤の使用が必要とされる等の欠点が
あり、また表面の耐溶剤性等の物性にも問題がある。更
に、通常の印刷紙の表面にプラスチックフィルムをラミ
ネートしたラミネート加工紙として、塩化ビニル樹脂ク
リヤーフィルム、ポリエステルフィルム、ポリエチレン
フィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム等をラミネートした
ものが知られているが、このような加工紙はフィルムの
貼り合せ工程が入り、工程が繁雑となり、コストも高く
なる。また、貼り合せ時に空気をだき込み易く、表面性
の悪くなる欠点がある。

本発明は、製造工程が簡単で安価に製造できる耐水性の
化粧シートであって、しかも意匠的な外観に優れた化粧
シートを製造することを目的とする。
K問題点を解決するための手段】
本発明は、薄葉紙上に塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストを均一に
塗布、乾燥することにより水分等の浸透を防止し、耐水
性とした後に咳薄葉紙上に塗布された塩化ビニル樹脂ペ
ースト層の上に印刷層を設け、必要に応じて該印刷層上
に表面保護層を設けてなる耐水性化粧シートを製造する
方法に係るものである。
本発明において使用する薄葉紙は、坪量20〜50g/
Wt程度のものであって、主としてヤンキー型抄紙機で
抄造した片艶原紙であって、23〜30g/況の薄葉紙
を使用することが望ましい。本発明においては耐水性を
付与するために上記薄葉紙に可塑剤、安定剤、必要に応
じて酸化チタン等を配合して混練した高粘度ゾル状の塩
化ビニル樹脂ペーストを塗布、乾燥する。耐水性樹脂と
しては塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストは、硬化時間があまり長
くない、取扱いが容易である。値段が安い、比較的難燃
性である等の理由から好適である。塩化ビニル樹脂ペー
ストの9M紙上へのコーティング方法は、グラビアコー
ト、ロールコート、コンマコート。
エアーナイフコート、シルクスクリーン等既知の方法を
用いて行うことができ、膜厚は、本発明目的には10〜
20μ程度が適当である。コーティング表面はピンホー
ル等がなく、表面が平滑であることが必要である。
上記のように塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストを塗布した薄葉紙
は、通常の印刷層及び必要に応じて印刷層上に表面保護
層を設けて化粧シートとする。尚、印刷層は、着色及び
柄印刷に加えて、発泡剤を加えた盛上げインキを使用し
て盛上げ印刷を行ってもよく、このような手段によれば
立体的な外観を有する耐水性化粧シートを製造すること
ができる。
模様を印刷形成するには、通常のインキ組成物を用い、
具体的にはベヒクルに顔料若しくは染料の肴色剤、可塑
剤、安定剤、その他の添加剤、溶剤若しくは希釈剤を混
練してなるものを用いる。
ベヒクルとしては例えば、エチルセルロース、エチルと
ドロキシエチルセルロース、セルロースアセテートプロ
ピオネート、酢酸セルロース等のセルロース誘導体、ポ
リスチレン、ポリαメチルスチレンなどのスチレン樹脂
及びスチレン共重合樹脂、ポリメタクリル酸メチル、ポ
リメタクリル酸エチル、ポリアクリル酸エチル、ポリア
クリル酸ブチルなどの、アクリル又はメタクリル樹脂の
単独又は共重合樹脂、ロジン、ロジン変性マレイン酸樹
脂、ロジン変性フェノール樹脂9重合ロジンなどのロジ
ンエステル樹脂、ポリ酢酸ビニル樹脂。
クマロン樹脂、ビニルトルエン樹脂、塩化ビニル樹脂、
ポリエステル樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、ブチラール樹脂
等のうち一種ないしは二種以上を選択して使用でき、更
に顔料又は染色の肴色剤、安定剤、可塑剤1分散剤、そ
の他の添加剤、溶剤若しくは希釈剤を混練してインキと
して用いる。
これらのインキ組成物を用いて通常の模様を印刷形成す
るにはグラビア印刷法、オフセットグラビア印刷法、シ
ルクスクリーン印刷法、オフセット印刷法、静電印刷法
、ジェットプリント法などの公知の印刷方法が使用でき
る。
表面保護層は、上記のようにして印刷された模様の摩耗
に対する保護2表面の艶を調節して高扱感を高める等の
目的で設けられる。使用する樹脂としては、不飽和ポリ
エステル樹脂、ジアリルフタレート樹脂、エポキシ樹脂

ア版を用い、下記の発泡剤を含有する盛上げインキで盛
上げ、発泡性模様を印刷し、発泡性盛上げ印刷層5を形
成した。

ム 60重全部発泡剤

ッツ−100) 10重量部上記により得られた印
刷紙に、ロールコートによりアクリルウレタンを主成分
とする樹脂の酢酸エチル溶液を用いて乾燥時の塗布量が
7g/T1tとなるように塗布して表面保護層6とし、
140℃で10秒間加熱し、全体を乾燥させると共に、
前記盛上げ発泡模様層を発泡させ、平均高さ150〜2
00μ汎の凸状模様を有する化粧シートを得た。
得られた化粧シートの表面に水滴を垂らし、時計回にて
カバーし、24時間放置したところ、裏面への水の浸透
は全くなく、良好な耐水性を保持していることを確認し
た。
K発明の効果】
本発明による化粧シートは、基材である薄葉紙上に塩化
ビニル樹脂ペーストをコーティングすることにより、吸
水性9通気性を有する基材への化粧シート表面からの水
分の浸透が防止できるので、耐水性のある化粧シートを
得ることができる。本発明において使用する塩化ビニル
樹脂ペーストは、硬化時間が短く取扱いが容易である上
、安価であり、更に難燃性でもあるので本発明の化粧シ

The surface was smoothed using Ingvar. The drying time was 180°C for 15 seconds. A decorative sheet having a 00μ convex pattern was obtained. When water droplets were placed on the surface of the obtained decorative sheet, it was covered clockwise and left for 24 hours, no water penetrated to the back surface, and it was confirmed that it maintained good water resistance. Effects of the Invention The decorative sheet according to the present invention prevents moisture from penetrating into the base material, which has water absorbency and breathability, from the surface of the decorative sheet by coating the thin paper that is the base material with vinyl chloride resin paste. Therefore, a water-resistant decorative sheet can be obtained. The vinyl chloride resin paste used in the present invention has a short curing time and is easy to handle, is inexpensive, and is flame retardant, so the decorative sheet of the present invention is suitable as a building material.
