本発明は8−ヒドロキシキノリンの金属錯体を有効成分

於ては木材のみならず鉄、コンクリートを用いた構造物
すら白蟻類に食い荒され、又はそれらの分泌物によって
腐食1@潰せられ、その被害1よ甚大なものがある。白
蟻類による被害の多くは戸外に於て発生する為、これら
の駆除に用いる薬剤は気象条件、例えば風雨、日光直射

ンは蒸気圧が高い為、高温雰囲気中では揮散し長期的な

点を改良した新規防蟻剤として、8−ヒドロキシキノリ
ン又はその誘導体を有効成分として含有する防蟻剤を先

には、相溶性が悪く、長期間にわたって少しずつ防蟻剤
が流出(ブリードアウト)して環境汚染の問題を引き起

[発明の目的]
本発明は以上の点に看目してなされたもので、各種ポリ
マーに防蟻剤を練り込む場合に、均一にポリマー中に分
散させることができ、かつ長期間にわたってもポリマー
からの流出を防止することができる防蟻剤を提供するこ

を0.05重量%〜90重量%含有してなり、かつ平均
粒径が50μm以下であることを特徴とする防蟻剤であ
