いてハウジング1に対し固定し、カバー7に設け
られた押えバネ9によつてLSI3をコンタクト5
に向けて押しつけている。なお10はプリント基

ケツトは、一面の周辺に多数の外部接続用パツド
を一列に有してなるLSI3を受け入れる四角形の
絶縁性のハウジング11を含んでいる。ハウジン
グ11には四辺のそれぞれ近傍に沿つて導電性の
コンタクト12が多数本組み込み保持されてい
る。コンタクト12は、ハウジング11に嵌め込
まれたLSI3の下面の外部接続用バツドに弾接す
る接触部13を有し、かつハウジング11を貫通
して外部へ引出されている。このコンタクト12
のハウジング11を貫通した部分14は、接触部
13よりもハウジング11の中央部寄りに位置づ
れしている。そしてコンタクト12の外部へ引出
された部分15は、例えばプリント基板10のス
ルーホール16に通された上でハンダ付け17を
施される。

【特許請求の範囲】 1 一面に外部接続用パツドを有するLSIの接続
に用いられるソケツトにおいて、上記LSIを受け
る絶縁性のハウジング、該ハウジングに組み込ま
れ、上記LSIの外部接続用パツドに接触する導電
性のコンタクト、上記LSIの反対面に重ね合わさ
れるカバープレート、および該ハウジングと該カ
バープレートとを挾み込むように周辺部に装着さ
れるロツク装置を含み、該ロツク装置と該ハウジ
ングとの係合点を、該コンタクトが上記LSIに接
触した時の該コンタクトの支持反力の作用線に一
致する位置若しくはその近傍位置に設定してある
ことを特徴とするLSIソケツト。 2 特許請求の範囲第1項記載のLSIソケツトに
おいて、上記コンタクトは上記ハウジングを貫通
して外部へ引出されており、該コンタクトの該ハ
ウジングを貫通した部分は、上記LSIの外部接続
用パツドへの接触点よりも該ハウジングの中央部
寄りに位置づれしていることを特徴とするもの。
