Conventionally, for example, as shown in Fig. 1, a three-level parking space is formed in the above-ground part 1a of a building 1, and a two-level parking space is formed in the underground pit part 1b.・Middle/lower three-tier palette 3,
4 and 5 are integrally connected and raised and lowered as appropriate by the lifting device 6, the desired pallet is placed at the entrance 2, and the vehicle W is entered and exited. There is a three-level parking facility that serves as an evacuation space for pallets.

By the way, in the case of mechanical parking equipment that requires a person to enter the parking equipment and get onto the vehicle mounting cage or pallet when entering and exiting the parking lot, the distance between pallets at the entrance and exit (from the top surface of the pallet to the bottom surface of the pallet directly above it) The distance (distance) is stipulated by law to be 1.8 m or more so that a tall person M can enter and exit the desired pallet without bending down. However, based on this regulation, in the three-tier parking facility mentioned above, the interval between each of the upper, middle, and lower pallets 3, 4, and 5 is fixedly set at 1.8 m.

However, if the target is a regular passenger car, it is known that a pallet spacing of about 1.6 m is sufficient for accommodating the vehicle. Taking this into consideration, fixing the interval between each pallet at 1.8 m as described above would result in the height of the above-mentioned above-ground part 1a and the depth of the underground pit part 1b becoming larger than necessary, especially in cities with high land prices. In addition, when installing parking equipment into an existing building, it may not be possible to install it if the height above ground or the depth underground is slightly small.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention is designed to suspend the lower pallet using a lifting chain, and to support the upper pallet by shortening the space between the upper and middle pallets and between the middle and lower pallets to maintain a space that can accommodate vehicles. The parking space is characterized by being provided with a telescoping connection mechanism that can be extended to a distance that allows vehicles to enter and exit the parking space without releasing the engagement, and a locking device for holding a pallet is provided in at least the fourth parking space from the bottom of each of the parking spaces. This relates to a three-tiered parking facility that aims to reduce the storage space by changing the vertical spacing of pallets when entering and exiting and when storing.

Next, the effect will be explained. Normally, vehicles are stored in the state shown in FIG. 5, but it is possible to enter and exit the upper pallet 19 in that state. When loading and unloading the middle pallet 20, a lifting device 29 is used.
Raise the pallet as it is by using the
The stopper 32 of the upper pallet is the locking device LC1.
It stops once at the position where it passes, and then locks the lock device LC1.
When the lifting device 29 is lowered after the rod is extended by the operation of , only the middle and lower pallets 20 and 21 are lowered. The upper surface of the middle pallet 20 is the ground floor 12
If the vehicle is stopped at a point where the vehicle is stopped at a point where the distance between the upper and middle pallets 19 and 20 coincides with that, the distance between the upper and middle pallets 19 and 20 becomes L2 , which allows the vehicle to enter and exit the vehicle, and the locking devices LC2 and LC3 are activated (the state shown in FIG. 4).

Next, when loading and unloading the lower pallet 21 from this state, the middle and lower pallets 20 and 21 are raised by the lifting operation of the lifting device 29, and after the upper end surface of the upper support member 27a collides with the lower surface of the engaging member 28, The rod will rise with the upper pallet 19, but when it has risen slightly, the locking devices LC1 to LC3 are deactivated to shorten the rod, and the pallet will rise once at the position where the stopper 33 of the middle pallet has passed the locking device LC1. and reactivate only the locking device LC1. After that, if the lifting device 29 is lowered and stopped when the upper surface of the lower pallet 21 coincides with the ground floor 12, the middle and lower pallets 2
0 and 21 correspond to the possible entry/exit interval L2 , and the locking device LC2 can be activated (the state shown in FIG. 2).

In addition, when moving from the state shown in FIG. 2 to the state shown in FIG.
The upper surface collides with the lower surface of the upper support member 27a and is temporarily stopped, thereby deactivating the locking device LC1 . Subsequently, the lifting device 2a is operated to lower the pallet, and at the position where the stopper 32 of the upper pallet 19 is slightly above the locking device LC1 , the pallet is temporarily stopped from lowering, and the locking device LC1 is activated. After that, the lifting device 29 is lowered so that the upper surface of the suspended pallet 20 is on the ground floor 12.
It stops when it matches the locking device LC 2 ,
When LC 3 is activated, upper and middle pallets 19, 2
The vertical interval of 0 corresponds to the possible entry/exit interval L2 , resulting in the state shown in FIG. 4.

Furthermore, when moving from the state shown in FIG. 4 to the state shown on page 5, first the locking devices LC 2 and LC 3 are deactivated, and when the lifting device 29 is slightly raised, the upper surface of the upper support member 27a is raised. After colliding with the engaging member 28, the pallet stops rising once, deactivates the locking device LC1 , and descends again. When the lower pallet 21 lands on the pit floor 11a, the lifting device 29 is stopped and the locking device is activated. When LC 2 and LC 3 are activated, the state shown in Fig. 5 will occur.

As described in detail above, when using the three-tiered parking facility of the present invention, the lifting device, the telescoping connection mechanism, and the pallet holding lock device are interconnected to achieve the following:
The interval between the desired pallet placed at the entrance/exit and the pallet above it widens to the allowable interval for entry/exit, making it possible to enter/exit the pallet, but when entering/exiting the lower pallet and the upper pallet, each pallet is evacuated to a parking space above the ground. The spacing between the upper and middle pallets and the spacing between the upper, middle, and lower pallets that are evacuated into the underground pit are all narrowed to the minimum spacing necessary for accommodating vehicles. The ground height inside the building can be made low, the depth of the underground pit can be made shallow, and the equipment cost of the entire parking facility can be greatly reduced by simply adding a simple and inexpensive telescopic connection mechanism.
