PURPOSE:To increase the tool holding force of jaws through the rotation of a handle by providing an inserting hole for a chuck handle shaft part on a chuck body and providing a bevel gear type part which can be meshed with the bevel gear of said chuck handle on a rotating nut. CONSTITUTION:A tool C is interposedly held by jaws 2 which are spread and contracted and made obliquely slide by the rotation of a rotating nut 3 and, further, the tool C is clamped by the rotation of a clamping nut 8. An installing hole 16 is formed on a chuck body 1 and a bevel gear type part 5 is provided on the rotating nut 3. And, a shaft part 18 which can be fitted into the installing hole 16 is formed on the end of a chuck handle 17 while a bevel gear type part 19 to be meshed with the bevel gear type part 5 of the rotating nut 3 is also provided. チャックハンドルの先端軸部を嵌入可能な装着穴を形成
するとともに上記回動ナツトに該傘歯車状部に噛合可能
な傘歯状部を設けて構成したことを特徴とする工具用チ
ャックにある。
