Then, the electronic component A is clamped by the chuck 4 at the tip of the arm 3 of the insertion machine 2 from the carrier 5 of the carrier mounting section 1a selected according to a component insertion order predetermined by a control device (not shown), and then The substrate B is transferred to a predetermined position on the substrate 1b and inserted automatically.

Since the electronic components in the carrier 5 of the carrier mounting section 1a are inserted into a predetermined position on the board B without directly identifying the electronic components in the carrier 5 of the carrier mounting section 1a, the carrier 5 may be inserted into the carrier mounting section due to an operator's error. When a carrier containing different electronic components is placed,
If a foreign item is inserted onto the board B, or if insertion is not possible, parts or the board may be damaged.

However, in the process of aligning and storing them in the carrier 5, If it is stored in the opposite direction, it will be inserted onto the board B with the polarity direction reversed.
