A maintenance system is being adopted in which vehicles are moved to each of these maintenance zones and maintenance is performed sequentially.
For example, "vehicle maintenance system" disclosed in JP-A No. 54-107032 and "vehicle body inspection and maintenance equipment for automobiles" disclosed in JP-A-54-136049 are examples of such systems. Commercial lifts have also become movable.

The above-mentioned drawbacks have been solved to a certain extent because the lifts run on the rails that have been laid, but the lifts run in the same direction as the vehicle's approach direction and the lifts themselves run on the circulating rails. Since it travels only in one direction, it has the disadvantage that the equipment itself becomes large-sized and the installation area is also vast. Furthermore, since the lift is a gate-type lift, it cannot be used for vehicles with a high vehicle height, and there is also the drawback that the vehicles to which it can be applied are limited.

It is a vehicle maintenance lift that travels laterally along the rails, and a support is set up on one end of a movable trolley that runs on the rail, and a carriage is attached to the inside of the support so that it can be raised and lowered, and the carriage is attached to the carriage. , a piece characterized in that a base end portion of a carriage arm having a vehicle cradle extending in the longitudinal direction of the rail and supporting the lower part of the vehicle is attached to lift a vehicle that has entered from the front and rear directions orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the rail. This is a portable vehicle maintenance lift.

Each rail 1, 1' may have one or more rails, but in consideration of lift safety, a double track is preferable. On the rails 1, 1' there is placed a moving trolley 3 which is driven by moving motors 16, 16', and on one end of the trolley 3 (upper right end in FIG. 1) is a support 2. It is officially established.
The trolley 3 is movable by placing drive wheels 17, 17' and sub-wheels 13, 13' on rails 1, 1' as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Driven by motors 16, 16' provided in the boxes 15, 15', the robot is self-propelled via transmission means such as a chain 14 and wheel gears. At this time, it is obvious that the two motors 16 and 16' at the front and rear are adjusted so that they rotate in synchrony.

There is. The elevating mechanism is such that a chain wheel 7 is installed at the upper end of a hydraulic cylinder 5 that is vertically installed in the support column 2 via a piston rod 6, and a carriage that is attached to the chain wheel 7 with one end connected to the inner wall of the support support 2 and the other end is movable up and down. The carriage 7 is raised and lowered via the piston rod 6, the chain wheel 7, and the chain 8 by the action of oil sent from the hydraulic unit 4 to the hydraulic cylinder 5.

Various sliding mechanisms can be considered, but in the illustrated embodiment, an arm 1 that clamps the carriage arm 11 from both sides on the lower end surface of the pedestals 10 and 10' is used.
0a and 10a are provided protrudingly from the carriage arm 1.

There are various possible maintenance systems using multiple lifts according to the present invention, but by installing two lifts in parallel, for example, it is possible to perform car washing, suspension maintenance, It is also possible to divide each maintenance process from the car wash room into the left and right maintenance rooms. That is, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, in a maintenance shop with a car wash room in the center and the same maintenance rooms on both left and right sides, rails 1 and 1' are installed across the center of each room. Two lifts A according to the present invention are placed on the rails. The lift A
are arranged symmetrically so that the pillars 2 are located inside each other, and are movable in the lateral direction. When a vehicle is serviced using such a maintenance system, the vehicle is washed in the central car wash room and sent to the left and right maintenance rooms by lifts, where work is carried out efficiently and the cars are washed in the central car wash room. Even when the lift is returned to the central car wash room after the undercarriage maintenance has been completed in the maintenance room,
The carriage can be moved in its lowest position and has the advantage that the time required for movement is extremely short.

In addition, since one side of the vehicle entered is open, the lift itself can be moved extremely quickly, improving work efficiency, and the top of the lift is also open, which limits the number of applicable vehicles. It's never done.

However, the present invention suffices as long as it has a structure in which the carriage arm is held in a cantilevered manner. Therefore, two such supports are installed at one end of the mobile cart, and a carriage equipped with a carriage arm is attached to each of them so as to be able to rise and fall freely. You can.
