Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a quick-acting deodorant, by mixing a zinc compound and a divalent iron compound. CONSTITUTION:A zinc compound such as zinc sulfate, zinc chloride or zinc nitrate and an iron compound such as ferrous sulfate or ferrous chloride are mixed so that a Zn/Fe<2+> mol ratio becomes 0.1-100. By using this mixture as a deodorant, deodorizing capacity can be allowed to last for a prolonged period of time.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a deodorizer that effectively removes all bad odors from meat centers, garbage disposal sites, toilets, food processing plants, etc., especially ammonia odor and hydrogen sulfide odor generated by protein decomposition. It is something.

Conventionally, deodorizing agents used in this field include adsorbents such as activated carbon, zeolite, and cristobalite, and oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, and ozone. Adsorbent-based deodorizers have a limited adsorption capacity, and the G&Fi ability quickly decreases, making it necessary to replace each adsorbent, which increases processing costs. and post-adsorption treatment (
The disadvantage is that the odor re-occurs when recycled or disposed of. On the other hand, oxidizing agents contain substances other than those that cause odor.
In particular, since it easily reacts with organic substances, the amount added becomes large, which increases the processing cost. Another drawback was that it corroded the equipment necessary for processing.

Recently, as a new deodorizer that has solved these drawbacks,
-Ascorbic acid-iron (It) (Tokuko Sho 61-, +3

The present inventors conducted various studies on deodorizing agents, and found that (a) iron(n) reacts with hydrogen sulfide and methyl butane, but the reaction time is slower than that of iron(1);
1) Zinc compounds react with hydrogen sulfide to produce zinc sulfide, but the reaction rate is faster than iron (1), and (c) zinc compounds have a longer deodorizing effect than iron (n). We found that (b) zinc compounds have a poor ability to remove methylbutane, and (e) zinc compounds and iron(1) compounds are effective in removing bad odors generated by protein decomposition.

The present invention is based on these findings, and includes a group of zinc compounds such as zinc sulfate, zinc chloride, zinc nitrate, and zinc acetate, as well as ferrous sulfate, ferrous chloride, ferrous nitrate, and iron acetate (It). A deodorizing agent characterized by containing at least one zinc compound selected from each group of divalent iron compounds and a divalent iron compound.

Both the zinc compound and the divalent iron compound used in the present invention need to be dissolved in water. The molar ratio of Zn/F2+ is preferably 0.01 to 100. As shown in Table 1, when this molar ratio is less than 0.01, the initial hydrogen sulfide removal effect is poor, and when it is more than 100, methyl melted butane (C
H33H) removal effect becomes worse.

In the present invention, the addition ratio of the zinc compound group and the divalent iron compound group shown in Table 1 is 0.32 mmol (Note 2) per 1 sludge.
The sludge used is effective as a deodorizer regardless of the combination of compounds selected from each group of sewage sludge, but it is effective as a deodorizer if the combination of compounds is selected from each group of sewage sludge. Preferably, it contains ions.
