Abstract

PURPOSE:To open and close an exhaust lid automatically and improve handling convenience as well as safety of a cooker or the like, by a method wherein a spring, opening and closing said exhaust lid and made of shape memory alloy, is interposed between the exhaust lid and the exhaust port of a cooking chamber so that the spring detects the heat of exhaust gas and opens or closes the exhaust lid automatically. CONSTITUTION:A coil spring 5, made of a shape memory alloy, is attached to the rear surface of an exhaust lid 4, put on the ceiling plate 1 of a cooker, and a casing 3a, forming a cooking chamber 2.
