Painting, black chrome plating, chemical conversion treatment, etc. are common methods, but another inexpensive method is to form an oxide film by heating at high temperatures. However, with the known high-temperature oxidation method, even if the oxide film is thickened, the degree of blackening on the surface is low, and the thicker the film, the easier it is to peel off, and it is difficult to obtain an aesthetically pleasing product. There were drawbacks.

Moreover, the present invention provides a stainless steel product having a black surface film that is also aesthetically superior.

The present invention relates to a method for producing colored stainless steel and a black temper colored stainless steel obtained by the method. The reason why a black film with good adhesion is formed on the surface of stainless steel according to the present invention is that Ti is oxidized on the surface of the stainless steel at the beginning of the heat treatment, and then Cr oxide is formed underneath. However, since two or more layers are sequentially formed, a film having sufficient blackness can be obtained even if the film is thin as a whole.
次に、本発明を実施例によフてより具体的に説明する。Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples.

The relationship with blackness when heated in the atmosphere for 30 minutes at ℃ is shown. Here, each stainless steel plate is cold rolled to 0°8mm, annealed at 800-900°C, pickled, #320
Emery paper was used after polishing with acetone. 1st
As you can see from the table, Ti-containing stainless steel has a rating of 900
Heating for 30 minutes at °C produces an oxide film with a high degree of blackness on the surface and good adhesion. On the other hand, stainless steel that does not contain Ti has a low degree of blackness and poor adhesion.

Table 2 shows the results of checking the time. As a sample, the 1st
Tests were conducted using No. 3 and No. 4 in the table, changing the heating conditions. For No. 013 and No. 4, almost no difference was observed in the results of the blackening test even if the heating conditions were changed, so they are listed together in Table 2. As shown in Table 2, the degree of blackness and adhesion of the oxide film change depending on the heating temperature and time. Appropriate heating temperature and time ranges were determined from Table 2 and are shown in the attached drawings. Note that each vertex of quadrilateral ABCD is A(97
5℃, 3 minutes) B (1150℃, 3 minutes) C (800℃, 1
200 minutes) D (800°C, 120 minutes), indicating that stainless steel containing 0.1 to 1.5% Ti within this range produces an oxide film with good adhesion and a high degree of blackness. ing. If the Ti content is less than 0.1%, no blackening occurs;
.. If it exceeds 5%, hot workability will deteriorate.
