Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out economical space cooling and heating by a method wherein at the center of a house a vertically tall heat storage tank reaching the underpart of a loft from the foundation is installed and around its periphery an insulating wall with a proper space is provided and heat is stored by a heat pump. CONSTITUTION:At the center part 2a of a house 2 a heat storage tank 1 of a fixed capacity reaching the underpart 4 of a loft from a foundation 3 is installed and is surrounded by an insulating wall 6 with a proper space 5 at the periphery of the tank, and at the upper part of the tank a suction air duct 8 with a suction air fan 7 is placed. The water stored in the tank 1 is heated or cooled with a heat pump 9 by utilizing late-night electricity to store warm or cool heat energy, and the warm or cool water in the tank 1 is circulated through a panel type space cooling and heating apparatus 10 or a fan coil type apparatus 11. The fan 7 is operated to intro duce the air from the duct 8 into the space 5, and the air is heated or cooled with the tank 1 and then circulated with a suction air fan 14 and an exhaust fan 15 at each room. Thus, the heat storage tank with a large capacity can be installed in a small setting area to be able to carry out economical space cooling and heating.

[Conventional technology] Hot water is produced at night using nighttime electricity, which is about half the price of electricity during the day, and stored in a hot water tank. It has become popular in recent years. However, a heat storage device for heating and cooling that uses late-night electricity to produce hot water or cold water, stores it in a heat storage tank, and extracts thermal energy from this hot and cold water at any time for use in heating and cooling a residence has not yet been realized.

The reason for this is that the capacity of a hot water tank used for heating, bathing, etc. is 400 I! , whereas a heat storage tank for heating and cooling requires a capacity of 5,000 J2, so a normal-shaped water tank requires a large installation area and has a large capacity, making it difficult to fit inside an ordinary residential building. It's hard to fit into.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a vertically elongated cylindrical heat storage tank erected in the center 2a of a residential building 2, with the lower part placed on the foundation 3 of the building 2, and the upper part reaching the attic 4 of the building 2. This heat storage tank 1
In order to provide heating in the winter and cooling in the summer in a typical house, approximately 5000 f of water is required. Therefore, if a pipe with a diameter of about 600 mm and a length of about 10m is used, the internal volume will be about 2.5 rrf, so two pipes can be installed in parallel. A heat insulating wall 6 is provided around the outer periphery of the heat storage tank 1 with an appropriate space 5, and the space 5 is communicated with the outside air through an air intake duct 8 with an intake fan interposed in the attic 4.

Inside the heat storage tank 1, cold and hot water (
7°C in the summer and 45°C in the winter), and a pipe is installed to run antifreeze at a temperature of 17°C, which is produced by a heat pump9, and ice is created around the pipe. A heat storage tank 1 is installed in a pipe coil 10a embedded in the ceiling.
11 is a fan coil that circulates hot and cold water from a heat storage tank 1 through an internal fan coil, and blows out hot and cold air through a built-in blower. Indicates unit type heating and cooling. It is also possible to heat or cool tap water through the water supply pipe 12 in the heat storage tank 1 and guide it to the faucet 13 to supply hot water during the current season and cold water during the summer.

In addition, the intake fan 7 is operated to introduce outside air from the intake duct 8 into the space 5 between the heat storage tank 1 and the heat insulating wall 6, and it is brought into contact with the heat storage tank 1 to be heated or cooled, and this hot and cold air is distributed to each room. The air is circulated indoors by an intake fan 14 and an exhaust fan 15 provided in the room, and fresh air can be used to heat and cool the room. In this case, in the summer, the humid and high temperature outside air is transferred to the heat storage tank 1.
The cooled air condenses on the outer surface of the heat storage tank 1 and flows down, and the dehumidified cold air is circulated indoors. In winter, water can be poured onto the heated outer surface of the heat storage tank 1 and evaporated to humidify the warm air.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, a vertically elongated heat storage tank with a predetermined capacity reaching from the foundation to the attic is erected in the center of the house, and an appropriate space is left around the outer periphery of the heat storage tank, and a heat insulating wall is formed. The water stored in the heat storage tank is heated or cooled by a heat pump during a specific period of time to store hot and cold thermal energy, and this stored thermal energy can be taken out at any time and used for heating and cooling purposes. As a result, a large-capacity heat storage tank can be installed in a general residential building without requiring a large installation area, and thermal energy for heating and cooling can be stored in the heat storage tank using inexpensive late-night electricity, and this energy can be used at any time. Since it can be taken out and used for heating and cooling, it is possible to economically realize a comfortable living environment that is fully equipped with heating and cooling and can supply hot and cold water. Since the vertical heat storage tank is a temperature stratification type, the heat storage efficiency is high, and even if there is heat loss through the heat insulating wall, since it is an indoor type, there is no external heat loss, and the indoor load is reduced. Furthermore, since the water level in the heat storage tank is high, there is no need to pump up the heat storage water to the upper floors of the house, and a small-capacity pump for circulation is sufficient. Furthermore, since the heat storage tank has a free water surface, an expansion tank is not required.

Furthermore, the space between the heat storage tank and the heat insulating wall can be used as a pipe shaft for collectively accommodating various types of riser pipes, which is extremely economical and highly practical.
