Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent filter medium from clogging, by passing the combustion gas of urethane resin through a filter dust separator after previously mixing powdery powdery slaked lime in a dispersion state to the combustion gas and eliminating the tackiness of misty tar component. CONSTITUTION:The filter dust separator 1 is provided with a hood 2 sucking the combustion gas of urethane resin, a dust 3 connecting with a hopper 5 for supplying slaked lime and a dust collector 7 having filter cloth 6. The slaked lime is mixed in the dispersion state with the combustion gas by opening a controller 4 of the hopper 5 in a specified vol. and then the misty tar component in the combustion gas is transfermed to dry powder having no tackness. When a specified amt. of dust is caught with the filter cloth 6, the dust is shaken down by a shaking device. At that time, the tar component is easily shaken down because the tar component is in the dry powder state.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a method for collecting dust from urethane resin combustion gas, and more specifically to a method for collecting dust from urethane resin combustion gas. The present invention relates to a dust collection method for collecting dust in combustion gas generated when urethane resin such as urethane foam or urethane rubber is subjected to heat treatment such as thermal welding treatment.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, as a typical example of such a dust collection method, there is a method using a filtration and dust collection device (so-called bag filter) using a filter medium such as a filter cloth or a filter paper.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, when urethane resin is heat-treated, phenolic compounds, amines, aldehyde compounds, chlorine compounds, etc. are generated by thermal decomposition, and these substances and soot-like char are the main components. Then, a highly sticky tar component in the form of a mist is formed. And because this tar component sticks to the filter media,
Even if a so-called vibration type or reverse jet type dusting mechanism is activated to prevent clogging after a certain amount of dust has been collected on the filter, it becomes difficult to shake off the collected dust, and the filter must be replaced due to clogging. There was a problem in that it had to be done frequently.

Therefore, the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to eliminate the stickiness of the mist-like tar component contained in the combustion gas of urethane resin.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The technical means for solving the above problems is to use a filtration and dust collector to collect dust in the combustion gas generated by the heat treatment of urethane resin. In the method, the combustion gas is mixed with powdered slaked lime in a dispersed state in advance, and then passed through the filtration and dust collector.

This effect is due to the fact that slaked lime is alkaline and forms salts with phenolic compounds and chlorine compounds, and does not promote the polymerization of aldehyde compounds. This is thought to be due to the coagulation of amines and the resulting loss of stickiness of the tar component.

The filtration and dust collection device 1 used in this embodiment has a duct 3 extending from a hood 2 installed at an appropriate position close to a workplace where urethane resin is heat-treated. The slaked lime supply hopper 5 of the metering device @ 4 is connected, and the tip of the duct 3 is guided to the intake side of a dust collector 7 equipped with a filter cloth 6 supported by a frame (not shown), and from the exhaust side of the dust collector 7. A duct 9 with a blower 8 is installed in the middle thereof, and its tip is connected to an exhaust chimney 10. A dust outlet 11 that can be opened and closed is provided at the bottom of the exhaust side of the dust collector 7, and the frame supporting the filter cloth 6 can be vibrated by a vibration device (not shown).

At this time, the slaked lime is mixed with the combustion gas in a dispersed state due to the wind pressure of the suction air moving in the direction of the arrow in the duct 3, and the above-mentioned action converts the mist-like tar component in the combustion gas into a non-sticky dry. It becomes a powder-like substance.

The amount of slaked lime mixed is arbitrarily determined depending on the composition of the combustion gas and the amount of mist-like tar component in the suction air, and cannot be determined by law.
For example, if 1 g of mist tar component is contained in 1TrL3 of suction air, 2 g of slaked lime may be mixed with 1 m3 of suction air.

The suction air mixed with slaked lime in this way collects dust.
At step a7, tar components and other dust that became dry powder when passing through the filter cloth 6 are collected, and the air is clean and free from the irritating odor caused by formaldehyde, as shown by the arrow in the figure. Then, it passes through the chimney 10 from the ducts 1 to 9 and is returned to the atmosphere.

When a certain amount of dust is collected on the filter cloth 6 and the air permeability becomes poor, the filter cloth 6 is vibrated by the vibration device to shake off the dust. At this time, since the tar component is also collected in the form of dry powder, it is easily brushed off. This dust is carried out of the apparatus through the dust outlet 11.
