イブラケツトを車体側に固定したカプセルに係合
させ、カプセルとブレークアウエイブラケツトに
わたつて樹脂部材を設け、ブレークアウエイブラ
ケツトに過大荷重がかかつたときに樹脂部材の切
断によりブレークアウエイブラケツトが車体に対
して車両前後方向に移動可能となるようにしたブ
レークアウエイブラケツトの支持装置において、
カプセルを中央部と該中央部の左右両側で左右方
向に膨出する中央部より薄厚のつば部とから構成
し、カプセルの中央部に形成した上下方向に延び
るボルト孔にボルトを挿通してカプセルを車体に
固定し、カプセルのつば部に上下方向に延びる樹
脂インジエクシヨン孔を形成し、ブレークアウエ
イブラケツトをダイキヤスト製とするとともに、
ブレークアウエイブラケツトのカプセルとの係合
部に、カプセルの中央部を受け入れる上下方向と
車両後方側が開放した溝中央部と該溝中央部の左
右両側で左右方向に延びカプセルのつば部を受け
入れる車両後方が開放した溝側部とから成るカプ
セル保持溝を形成し、溝側部の上下方向を画成す
るブレークアウエイブラケツト壁に樹脂インジエ
クシヨン孔を形成してカプセルの樹脂インジエク
シヨン孔との間にわたつて樹脂を注入してブレー
クアウエイブラケツトのカプセルとの車両前後方
向移動を固定し、カプセルのつば部とカプセル保
持溝の溝側部とのそれぞれに、上下方向と左右方
向のそれぞれの方向に、車両前方に向つて縮小す
るテーパをつけたことを特徴とするステアリング
