Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

In an automobile bumper in which a support beam fixed to the body is covered with a soft plastic bumper member with a spacer interposed therebetween, the cross section near the upper end of the soft plastic bumper member is approximately square-shaped, and the front part of the soft plastic bumper member is formed into a substantially square shape. Alternatively, drill a mounting hole that is flush with the component and has a slit opening downward with the rear part as a flange, and insert a mounting bolt fixed to a retainer that supports the vicinity of the upper end through the slit into the mounting hole.
